General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 15-Jan-2002

Aboard Nikolas’ yacht...

Gia walks in on Nikolas on the phone and hears him being rude and demanding. She wants to know what happened to him, why he was being like that. She suggests he is too stressed out, worrying about too much like Lucky and the running of the whole estate. Nikolas lets her in on what Helena said…that he will enjoy being able to use the Cassidine name to get whatever he wants. He is afraid this has already happened. Gia assures him he is not like his father. They express their love for each other and set up plans to go to Paris.


In Alexis’ penthouse...

Alexis wakes up, sore from her workout the day before. Kristina cannot believe that Alexis went to work out and tries to get her to stretch. Kristina believes Alexis went to the gym because she was mad and Alexis pretty much backs this up when she says she had a desire to hit something. Alexis admits she arranged a date for herself with Scott. Then she asks Kristina what is going on with her & Ned. Kristina doesn’t want to talk about it, but finally tells Alexis that she wants to have some fun, but promises Alexis that she will always come first.


At Wyndermere...
Stefan is pensive. He reads his journal from when he was a child. Then, he calls all Cassidine family members (save Helena, of course) to Wyndermere for a big announcement.


In Skye’s room at the Port Charles Hotel...

Skye wakes Jax up and invites him to bed. She thinks he must need to sleep on a soft bed after a night in a chair. She tells him she appreciates him staying the night. They flirt a little and then he launches into business mode. Outside her door, Jax runs into Ned who warns him against Skye.


At the gym...

The two men make use of the new gym set and work out together, talking about women. Ned suggests Jax & he double date, as long as Jax doesn’t bring Skye. When Jax asks who Ned is going to bring, Ned says, “Kristina.” Now it is Jax’s turn to talk Ned out of developing anything with Kristina. Jax says Alexis will be hurt. Ned insists that is not so. The gym guy brings over Alexis’ membership card, which she forgot the night before, and the guys are amused that Alexis has joined the club.


At Edward’s room in the Port Charles Hotel...

Edward is staying in a room at the Port Charles Hotel also and is making the most of it, smoking, drinking, eating fattening cheese blintzes. He calls Melissa and she shows up, shocked at his behavior. She tries to talk some sense into him about his family, about adopting her and putting her in his will and about his health. He remains against his family. As he shows Melissa out, who is in the hall but Skye?! She immediately jumps to the wrong conclusions, calls Melissa some names and accuses Edward of trying to hurt Lila some more. When Skye leaves, Edward goes back to his room and clutches his heart in pain. He collapses!


At the Quartermaine house...

Alan laments what has become of his family, he doesn’t know what to do. Monica tells him she loves him and reassures him, whatever he chooses is okay with her. Lila pretty much says the same thing. When Skye shows up later, Alan told her things are going to change. He demands she move out.
