Since it’s Friday and NO-ONE else has written this recap, I’ve taken the liberty of doing TWO this week.
Here goes…
Alexis reminds Marcus he'll need a warrant before he can take anyone into custody. After the detective departs, Sonny assures a fretful Janine and Courtney that he and his attorney will handle this latest situation. As they await Taggert's return, Sonny gives his nervous kid sister instructions on how to handle the law. Later, Courtney watches in alarm as her mother is handcuffed and led away to face criminal charges.
Meanwhile, at the precinct house, Monica snarls at Edward for having A.J. arrested along with Skye. Edward offers to drop all charges against his grandchildren if Melissa will allow him to legally adopt her. Roy comes Melissa's rescue and saves her from having to decide the Q grandkids fate. Sonny reveals the connection between himself and the Matthews, which AJ thinks he can use to his advantage in his war against Sonny.
Lucky comes to Helena's jail cell and bitterly congratulates her for separating him from the woman he loved. He manages to get Helena to come to the cell bars, then grabs her in a chokehold. As he tightens his grip on Helena's scrawny neck, Lucky orders his former tormentor to restore his feelings for Elizabeth. Nik arrives and persuades Lucky to release her. After Lucky leaves, Helena loses no time in pushing her irritated grandson's most vulnerable buttons. She also gives him a good scare; by vividly predicting his future. Later, Lucky runs into Melissa and Roy and tells them to always cherish their love.
Bobbie reluctantly admits to Scott how Luke and Laura seem to be on the verge of reconciling. Bobbie listens as Scott vents his frustration and vows never to lose at love again.
In Beecher's Corners, the Spencer’s have checked into a motel room with twin beds and begin to thoroughly rehash their past. Luke and Laura appear headed for romance, but Laura draws away from a kiss and they end up arguing instead. Luke accuses Laura of avoiding making a commitment. Later, Laura pours out her feelings and announces (through the blanket) that she has reached a decision about Luke’s proposal.
