1. Janine’s Room - “Let’s Make a Deal” - Janine defends her behavior to Sonny and reiterates her wish to take her daughter Courtney home. Sonny says he’d like her to stay in town while he gets to know his sister. He offers to make it worth her while. Janine is worried about what Edward Quartermaine will do, now that he knows she was conning him. Sonny promises to take care of any problems she might have. Then Janine says she doesn’t want Mike back in Courtney’s life. Sonny tells her she doesn’t get to decide that. He wants to know if they have a deal or not.
2. Quartermaine Mansion - “No More Mr. Nice Guy” - Melissa stops by to try to convince Edward to take her out of his will and put his family back in. Alan and Skye enter the living room, and Edward tells them he’s through being “Mr. Nice Guy.” When did you start? Skye wants to know. Alan comes in and reminds Melissa that hospital staff should not visit patients in their homes or accept monetary gifts from them. Then Monica arrives with Taggert and Mac. Edward announces that he called them to report a crime: fraud, blackmail and conspiracy. He wants Skye and A.J. arrested. Alan tells him he’s going to far, and Melissa tries to stop him, too. Edward tells Mac all about Janine and her scheme. Did any money actually change hands? Mac asks. Monica helpfully chimes in about giving money to Janine to leave town and Skye giving her money to stay (doesn’t she realize she’s hurting her own son by saying this?). Edward also describes Courtney to Mac and says she’s a witness to the crime. They blackmailed me for control of ELQ, stealing my company, Edward rants. Melissa can’t believe it and says she wants out of the will even more. Mac says he thinks there’s enough evidence for the conspirators to face jail time (based on his stunning conviction rate, no doubt) and asks if Edward wants to press charges. Edward tells him to arrest Skye and A.J. and Janine. Skye pleads for help, Alan warns Edward to stop, and A.J. thinks it’s all some kind of joke.
3. Laura’s House - “The Blame Game” - A dejected Lucky is lying on the couch with what appears to be a “dear Lucky” letter from Liz in his hand when Gia knocks on the door. He lets her in and starts railing about how Elizabeth is gone and it’s all Gia’s fault. Nikolas comes in and says Lucky should blame him; he shouldn’t have told Gia. People in love should be able to tell each other everything, Gia helpfully interjects. Lucky yells at both of them, pointing out that it was HIS decision to go through with the wedding. Nikolas wiped out my love for Elizabeth in the first place, he adds. Nik says he was trying to prove himself to Helena. Is that an apology or an excuse? Lucky wants to know. Gia says Elizabeth will be back. How am I supposed to get back what you two took away? Lucky screams and runs upstairs. Gia tells Nik it’s not his fault. She makes him promise that he’ll tell her if he ever falls out of love with her. Nik wants to fix things with Lucky before he leaves, but Gia convinces him to wait until they can help when Lucky and Liz need them in the future. They leave. Lucky comes downstairs, looks around the room with the wedding decorations, throws his suitcoat across the room, and storms out.
4. Alexis’ Penthouse - “New Roomie” - Courtney is studying a small scuplture when Kristina comes in. She drops it and it smashes on the floor. Kristina wants to know who she is. Alexis arrives and makes the introductions. She tells Courtney not to worry about breaking the figurine; it was a gift from her brother, but she thought it was ugly. Courtney admits to being a little overwhelmed about finding out her father is alive and that she has a brother. She observes that Alexis and Kristina were separated most of their lives, yet they seem to get along well. Did that happen right away? she asks. Alexis says Sonny is cautious. Courtney wants to know why Alexis cares about her staying in town. Is Sonny your boyfriend? she wants to know. Alexis denies that, right before Sonny and Janine arrive. Sonny takes Alexis aside and asks how Courtney is doing. Alexis says Kristina has put her at ease. Janine announces she’s staying in town as Sonny’s guest. Courtney chooses to stay at Alexis’ penthouse. Taggert arrives to arrest Janine and says he also wants Courtney to come downtown.
5. Beecher’s Corners - “A Walk Down Memory Lane” - Luke takes Laura to the old movie theatre in Beecher’s Corners. The place is empty and Laura wants to know what Luke has planned. He gives her a dish of popcorn at the bottom of which is a real engagement ring. Laura barely has time to ooh and ahh over it before Luke takes it back and says it’s his until she says yes. They take a seat in the theatre and watch “Luke and Laura: The Wedding.” After seeing the exchange of vows all those years ago, Laura is in tears. She and Luke kiss. Outside, she wonders how they could have forgotten such happiness. But then she says they are completely different now. Luke says they’re better because they know what works and won’t make the same mistakes again. I believe in us, he says. He knows she has a lot to think about, so he says he’ll take her home. But then the motorcycle won’t start. Laura is instantly suspicious, especially when the hotel only has one room left. When they get to their room, she sees a blanket hanging between the two beds. Luke admits to setting everything up. He says the wall must come down and only Laura has the power to bring it down.
