1. Quartermaine Mansion - “Love Overlooks All Faults” - A depressed A.J. tells Skye he still can’t find Janine. He wants to tell the media about Edward’s tryst for some quick revenge, but Skye stops him. That will only make a minor impact on Edward’s reputation, she points out, but it will hurt Lila a lot. She urges A.J. to think first and stay cool; it’s the only way to win against Sonny. A.J. thanks her and leaves. Alan comes in, having overheard. He thinks it’s admirable that she is trying to make A.J. learn from his mistakes. Skye tells Alan he needs to love the real her; she’s not selfless. She needs A.J. to be effective for her plans to work. She feels in control for the first time in her life, and she’s finally going to get what she deserves. Alan says nothing she does can stop him from loving her. On that sweet, fatherly note, he leaves the room. Skye picks up the phone and calls Jax, telling him she has a surprise for him.

2. Laura’s Office - “Motherly Advice” - Laura asks Lesley to watch Lulu because Luke wants her to go on a mission with him. What happened to enjoying the peace and quiet? her mother wants to know. She tells Laura she’s mainly concerned about the risk she’s taking with her heart. I will support you if you honestly feel that going off with Luke is what’s best for you, Lesley says. Then she poses the question that Laura can never seem to answer: “what do you want?”

3. Alexis’ Penthouse - “Tell All, Big Sister” - Alexis is gazing at the casino chip when Kristina arrives. She is surprised to see her big sister back already, and she wastes no time in grilling her about all the details of the trip to Puerto Rico with Sonny. Alexis insists she and Sonny were there on business, and they went to the casino only as two friends blowing off steam. Kristina is not buying it; if there was no romantic interlude, why are you so defensive, she wants to know. Plus it’s hard to believe she’s miss Nikolas’ engagement party just for business. Alexis changes the subject and asks Kristina how the party was. Kristina tells her that Stefan wants her to use Cassadine as her last name, which Alexis isn’t thrilled about. She also tells her that he gave her a copy of her mother’s dress to wear. Life is good, personally and professionally, Kristina declares. She announces that Ned wants to make her a rock star. “Forget it,” Alexis snaps and stalks off.

4. Sonny’s Penthouse - “A Charming Interrogation” - Sonny wants to know how Janine and Mike know each other. All Janine will admit is that she and Mike are acquaintances. Then Mike arrives. Janine is shocked to find out he’s Sonny’s father. Max takes her back to her room. Sonny and Mike talk. Sonny says he’s glad Mike and Carly are close; he can help her through the divorce. Why don’t you forgive her? Mike asks. Sonny says he loves Carly but can’t forget what she did; betrayal lasts (just what Mike doesn’t need to hear at this moment). Mike admits he met Janine in a casino in Reno and they had a relationship. So the affair is the big secret? a skeptical Sonny asks. Sure there’s nothing else? Mike says he never knows how Sonny will react, and yes, that’s all there is to it. Sonny thanks Mike for telling him himself. Mike leaves. Out in the hall, he looks very upset, and we know that he’s still keeping something from his son.

5. Zander’s Room Above Jake’s - “The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship” - Zander and Carly are kissing passionately, until Zander breaks off. He apologizes profusely, mortified that he would kiss Sonny’s wife. Carly forgives him, excusing his behavior because he was hurt and not thinking clearly. She understands completely; he wanted to hurt himself, and she’s lived her whole life that way. As she bandages his hand (he’s bleeding from smashing a picture of him and Emily), she lists her past sins - seducing her mother’s husband, conceiving a child while drunk, and sleeping with the best friend of the man she loved. We’re alike, Carly says, but you have more self-control. Zander says that before Emily his life was nothing; how does he keep from going back to being the terrible person he once was? Carly says she’s still working on that herself. She suggests they make a pact to keep each other from doing crazy things. It’s a deal, Zander says. She starts helping him clean up the room he trashed. The phone rings. It’s Sonny, thanking Zander for telling him about Mike and Janine. He asks Zander to keep looking after Carly and stop her from doing crazy things. No problem, says Zander.

6. Janine’s Room - “Good Fortune” - Janine is on the phone with someone, telling them she’s stumbled onto a gold mine. She’ll be home soon, she says.

7. Cruise Ship - “Luke and the Fictitious Caper” - Luke boards the cruise ship and greets a couple of old friends - two ex-spies who he’s recruited for the “mission.” He says they are there to “show a great lady a great time.” He tells them he and Laura are divorced, but the one thing they still do well together is live on the edge. He tells his friends they are the bad guys that he and Laura will be watching. And having a romantic time while doing it, the female ex-spy observes. She warns Luke that Laura will not like being deceived. Then she must never know, Luke says. Just stick to the script, he advises his co-horts. He goes to wait for Laura to show up. He sees a blonde woman, goes up behind her, and whispers some silly code phrase in her ear. She turns around, and it’s a complete stranger. Later, Luke is still waiting for Laura, getting nervous when the ship prepares to set sail. Then he bumps into a pretty brunette, who turns out to be Laura in disguise! “I made it,” she says. “Where do we begin?” Luke is happy to see her.
