At some abandoned building...
Jax brings Carly to some old book-binding factory building that he owns to show her a potential location for her club. She loves it and starts picturing what she can do with the place. Jax says she is certainly ambitious, but wonders about her perserverance. She pleads her case to him and he believes it, says he'll back her, provided she show him some figures in a few days. He tosses her the keys, a new partnership is formed. Carly is ecstatic!
At the Quartermaine house...
Monica and Skye continue fighting in the living room. Skye has a glass of wine ready to pour on Monica. AJ & Ned amuse themselves by placing bets on the events. Rae sticks up for Skye and tells Monica to treat Skye with respect. Rae tells Monica to "Back off or else." More fighting ensues and Monica ends up with the glass of wine dumped on her. Alan breaks up the cat-fighting. Monica is furious with him, for inviting Rae for Thanksgiving, for bringing Skye into the house and for taking their side over hers. Alan questions why Monica was eager to accept Jason into the family but not Skye. Monica is galled that Alan could even compare the two, since she raised Jason and Skye is a grown-up brat. Monica says she's had enough. Alan says Skye needs time with Rae and he will continue to include her with the family, she should not be jealous. Monica is still angry. Meanwhile, Skye & Rae share a pleasant moment. Skye thanks her mother for sticking up for her. Rae suggests to Skye that she not go through with her plans to get back at Edward and Skye immediately turns on her, accusing her of showing up only on Alan's request to talk her out of her plans. Rae explains that Alan is concerned and tells Skye that she knows she is a better person that she lets on. Skye ends up happy that her mom showed up and invites her to join them again, maybe at Christmas. Rae & Alan think that's a great idea. Before Rae leaves, she thanks AJ for giving Skye a chance and tells him that Skye really seems to care about him. He says the feeling is mutual. Another conversation at the Quartermaine home involves Skye & AJ who discuss Jax. Skye says she is ready to apply the "full-court press" on him to keep him involved in their plan against Sonny.
Inside the Brownstone...
Lesley Lu has brought Thanksgiving dinner to a standstill with her news of her mom's engagement to Scott. Everyone disperses, leaving only the Spencers and Roy at the table. Luke sarcastically toasts to the happy couple and gets up. Roy stops him and asks him if he is okay. Luke just says he is ready to leave and walks out the front door. Laura runs after him. Gia has arrived at the brownstone now, too, and tells Lucky that she doesn't know where Nikolas went. She is worried. Lucky tells her he has a pretty good idea where Nikolas went and he'll take her there. Maxie wonders what happened to Lucky. Mac & Felicia remind Maxie that Lucky has a girlfriend (Maxie says she'll wait!) and that she'll just end up hurt. Felicia speaks from experience. Meanwhile, Roy & Melissa discuss Luke & Laura. Melissa thinks it's obvious that they are not over, but Roy says that it is complicated.
At the jail...
Helena wonders why Nikolas is there, is he there to gloat, she wonders? She recaps Luke's and Stefan's visit and is not happy to have her grandson there to mock her as well. Nikolas says he isn't there to gloat,, but rather, wants to know about his father. He blames her for his second death, how dare she bring him back and make him take part in her revenge plans when Stavros really just wanted to get to know his son. Helena tells Nikolas a part of Stavros will always be alive in him, he cannot deny his father's legacy, he has a destiny to fulfill. He is a Cassidine, not a Spencer. Lucky & Gia show up then and tells Nik not to believe a word she says. Gia shares some choice words with Helena and then his friends escort him out of there. Nikolas says goodbye to his grandmother. She says she loves him and he is welcome back anytime. He makes it sound as if he will never see her again, but somehow one doesn't believe him.
Outside the Brownstone...
Laura catches up with Luke. He acts distant and as if all is fine. She asks him not to be like that and tells him she hasn't said 'yes' to Scott yet. He tells her he doesn't know what she is looking for him to say and asks her why she hasn't said 'yes' to Scott's proposal yet. She said it is complicated. Luke claims not to see it that way. He says bluntly, "We're over. Turn the page." She is surprised that he really feels that way. Luke does admit that he can't give her his blessing, especially not to Scotty. He suggests Mac or Roy even. He does admit that Scott clearly loves her, but wonders if he is not too dull for her. He says it makes him crazy to think of her marrying anyone, but she isn't his anymore. He tells her she doesn't need anyone. It's all her decision, he tells her, and then he leaves her sitting on the steps, alone, with tears in her eyes.
