General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 21-Nov-2001

Sonny comes over to Alexis’ and hands her the signed divorce papers – it’s funny how she gets all tongue-tied and brain-dead when he’s around, but stands there chatting with him in her sexy p.j.s with no problem…. She gives it one last shot at changing his mind (guilty conscience?) but it’s no dice.

Meanwhile over at the brownstone, Bobbie and Carly discuss how she really feels about her divorce. Carly wishes things were different, but realizes that she can’t expect Sonny to really love her if he can’t trust her. She tells Bobbie that she’s ready to move on with the next phase in her life and hints at something big. She later visits Jax, who oh-so politely slams the door in Skye’s face (love it!). He’s wary, with good reason, but does listen to her proposal about bankrolling a new nightclub (hey, what’s wrong with Luke’s?) Skye’s so put out with Jax’s behavior (and maybe his interest in Carly?) that she runs to brother A.J. and vents. A.J. doesn’t offer big sis any encouragement, in fact, he digs the idea of Carly hooking up with someone else – it’ll only piss off Sonny in the long run.

Luke knocks on Melissa’s door and gets an eyeful of the scantily clad R.N. – The naughty boy tries to make her squirm a little bit, but she gives as good as she gets! “I have to say, I was not supposed to like you” - “oh, go on, everyone knows you have a weakness for blondes” - touché’. Nice one Missy --

Nikolas and Gia go to Kelly’s to wake up Lucky and Gia very subtly (not!) flashes her rock. NO it did not put him in a trance! Anyway, he suggests they elope- but Gia starts rattling off plans for a royal wedding much to Nikolas’ apparent discomfort. Janine is also in the diner and finds herself at a table with A.J. After bitching about her Motel 6-like accommodations, she tells A.J. that she’s only interested in looking out for her kid and if Skye doesn’t come through with the money, she’s outta there. A.J. tells her to relax, he’s her fallback.

Bobbie is counseling Scott to wait for the right time to ask Laura to marry him. Oops, too late he says. Jeez, did you have to propose to her on what would have been her 20th wedding anniversary? Talk about bad timing. By the way – guess who’s coming to dinner? Poor Scott, on top of all this, Lucas tossed his turkey centerpieces because he thought they looked like amoebas. The guys just can’t catch a break.

By the way, does anyone know the number for Dominos Pizza delivery???
