General Hospital Update for Monday, 19-Nov-2001

AT CARLY'S HOUSE:
Bobbie suggests to Sonny that he keep his distance from her daughter if he no longer wishes to remain married to her. Sonny explains to Bobbie why he's never been able to forgive and forget. Bobbie coaches her son-in-law on forgiveness and trust in relationships. Scott arrives and after the usual exchange of hostilities, Sonny leaves. Bobbie advises her friend NOT to propose to Laura just yet, as it is her 20th anniversary. Scott admits that he has already proposed but not received an answer from Laura. He also admits to fear of loosing Laura to Luke again. Bobbie tries to reassure Scott the best that she can.

LUKE'S OFC:
Overdosed with memories of their wedding day, Laura goes to the blues club to see Luke on what would have been their 20th anniversary. Both admit to re-emerging feelings, but both attribute them to the date and the recent ordeal with the Cassadine's. Laura leaves with tears on her face as Luke sits and watches saddly.

AT KELLY'S:
Zander prevents Carly from making a public scene when A.J. tries to goad her. After convincing Carly to walk away, he does have words for A.J. himself. Zander berates A.J. for riling Carly and breaking Emily's heart with his lies. He also points out that A.J. has no one but himself to blame for losing his son. Later on the docks, Zander meets up with Carly and tells her that the Q's have moved Em and she asked him to stay away from her.


AT THE PC HOTEL:
Skye's plan to move Janine is jeopardized when they almost run into Kristina and Ned in the bar. Kristina is suggesting to Ned a new plan to save Edward. Get Janine interested in a new YOUNGER man, with just as much money! NO WAY says Ned; he won't go THAT far for the family. Skye approaches and exchanges insults with Kristina who suggests that Skye seek therapy for her emotional problems. Ned's growing feeling for Kristina rise to the surface as he defends her in the ensuing argument.

AT ALEXIS' PENTHOUSE:
Alexis denies that she has more than friendly feelings for Sonny. She even brings up Brenda and the past to get Jax off track. Jax however is not completely convinced. Later, Jax persuades Alexis to borrow his yacht and take her sister on a long, leisurely cruise. Alone with Alexis at last, Kristina's first chat involved quizzing Lexi on her feelings for Sonny. Alexis calmly leaves the room without answering but you can feel the frustration in her voice as she screams from the kitchen!

AT KELLY'S:
Skye has rented a room for Janine at Kelly's (Janine is not happy with this arrangement to say the least). After Janine takes her things upstairs, Skye consults with A.J. He suggests that they use Mike to get to Sonny. Showing an uncharacteristic caring side, Skye hesitates to use Mike's gambling against him. A.J. decides to try and find something in Sonny's past to use against him. Both are unaware that Mike's past might just provide a key opportunity.

ON THE DOCKS:
Sonny happens long as Carly is giving Zander a little speech about how love is acceptance. Later, alone with his wife, Sonny manages to rekindle Carly's hopes that they can work past the problems. Eventually Sonny coaxes Carly over to the penthouse and after some inane talk about the new furniture, he asks her to spend the night.


LAURA'S OFC:
Laura enters to find Luke waiting for her. He asks "what if these aren't old feelings but new ones?" Again they are both reluctant to be the first to admit their true feeling (my opinion). But, they do part with happier thoughts and feelings and looking forward to spending Thanksgiving together at Bobbie's.
