General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 13-Nov-2001

At Carly’s place...

Sonny drops Carly & Michael off at their home. Michael wants Sonny to stay the night, but Carly doesn’t think it’s a good idea. She sticks to her guns and tells him she doesn’t think they should try to capture what they had. She doesn’t think Sonny can do what she wants and needs him to do. She does tell Sonny she still wants him to adopt Michael, though. Sonny’s goon whispers something in Sonny’s ear and he basically bolts. Mike visits Carly and hears what happened and thinks she’s crazy. She explains that she can’t always be on trial with Sonny; that’s not a marriage. She tells Mike he might be okay with that, but she can’t live her life like that. Mike is vague and starts talking about “things” he’s done that he can’t tell Sonny about, that he doesn’t want to step over Sonny’s boundaries. Carly basically asks why Sonny always gets to draw the lines in the sand? (Good for her, I say! Is it easier said than done, though?!)


In Janine’s hotel room...

Monica is offering Janine $100,000 when Skye walks in and tries to grab the check out of her hand. A wrestling match ensues, but in the end, Janine takes the money and promises Monica she’ll leave town and leave “Sweet Cheeks” alone. Of course, when dealing with a con woman, her word means nothing and as soon as Monica is gone, Janine suggests Skye give her $250,000 to stay in town and not leave “Sweet Cheeks” alone.


At Ned’s place...

PARTY! Everyone is celebrating, thanking each other for taking care of everyone. Jax mentions flying to Monaco to celebrate. Stefan says Jax should sell back all the Cassidine businesses he bought out from under Helena’s nose. Jax suggests they play a game of cards, each draws a card and the highest card gets the companies. To make it more worth Jax’s while, they throw in Windermere should he win. Stefan gets the highest card, after some trickery from Jax. Alexis calls him on it and thanks him yet again. Nikolas & Gia leave to go to the other party. Sonny shows up to check out how Alexis is doing. Kristina introduces herself to the mobster and asks him what he does for a living. He says one thing (coffee importing), but Ned & Jax have more criminal activities in mind. He asks Alexis if she needs a ride home and she takes him up on it. Kristina decides to stay at Ned’s one last night. Once everyone else leaves the party, Kristina tries to pry more information about Sonny and Alexis out of Ned. He goes to bed when she asks if there is more than an attorney-client relationship there.


At Laura’s house...

PARTY!! Bobbie & Tony share a moment outside, relieved that all seems to be well, although Bobbie is still a little worried about Luke. Scott shows up with clowns and a pony. The party moves outside and the pony is a big hit with the children (Serena, Lucas and Lulu). Lucky tells the kids the story of the big bad monsters that got beaten by all the good people (hooray!). Meanwhile, Laura is up in the attic and Luke shows up. He gloats, tells her he always knew she would be able to handle the whole Cassidine mess on her own. He apologizes for whatever he might have done in his delirious state. They reminisce over old letters and mementos. Scott catches them in a tender moment and leaves abruptly. Luke reminds Laura that their divorce is official. Both seem to want to say something else to the other, but don’t. Back down stairs, Lucky & Nikolas celebrate as brothers, discuss Elizabeth and how she helped Lucky break the mind control. Nikolas & Gia leave to spend some time alone… Lucky leaves. Laura starts to clean up when Scott reappears. He acts all jittery and then pops the question to her! Will you marry me, Laura?


At Alexis’ penthouse...

Sonny drops Alexis off and he sticks around, wanting to make sure she is okay. He knows she isn’t, even though she insists she is.


In Jax’s room...

As he returns from the party at Ned’s place, he finds Skye making herself comfortable on his couch.


At Luke’s club...

Luke is serving drinks at his club. Mike is there drowning his sorrows. Janine shows up, orders a drink and Mike overhears her. They know each other!!
