General Hospital Update for Monday, 12-Nov-2001

THE JAILHOUSE BLUES:
Bobbie, Luke, Laura, Nikolas, Gia and Scotty go to the police station to give their statements. Helena walks in with handcuffs on and Luke taunts her and tells her that Starvos fell into the bottomless pit at the lab. Helena is shocked.
Taggert pulls Gia aside and asks her why she is still with Nikolas. Gia informs her brother that she is happy with Nik. She then, to prove her point, handcuffs herself to Nik. Tag laughs at his sister and tells her that he doesn’t know where the keys are for that set of cuffs.
Lucky goes to Helena’s jail ceil. She thinks he is there to protect his queen. Lucky laughs at her and tells her that he hates her for what she has gone to him, his family and Liz. And then says that she will never know what real love is.
Laura decides surround herself with the people she loves. She invited Luke, Lucky and Scotty over to her house. Luke tells her maybe another time. And leaves the station.
Nik tells Stephan that he doesn’t want to be part of the Cassadine family and that he never wants to become like his father. Stephan tells Nik about Kristina and he agrees to go meet her.
SNEAKY MONICA:
Edward receives some flowers from Janine. He asks for Moncia’s help because he doesn’t want to hurt Lila and he is afraid to be in the same room as Janine. Skye storms in looking for her purse. Monica spots it and sits on it. Skye then leaves to look elsewhere in the house for it. Monica snoops and finds Skye’s credit card. She calls the credit card company and finds out the Skye as been using it for a room at the Port Charles Hotel. Monica then cancels the credit card and goes to the hotel to find Jan.
Lila comes in and wants to know what Edward is up to. Skye comes in too and Edward gives Lila the flowers the Janine sent him. Skye insists on reading the card that came with the flowers. Edward tries to stop her. Skye reads it but changes some words around so it sounds like Edward got them for Lila. Edward takes Lila back to her room and asks Skye if they could have a civilized conversation. Skye looks into her purse and sees that someone was in her wallet. She then storms out of the mansion.
Monica offers Janine a check for 100,000 dollars to leave town. Janine is about to take it when Skye bursts into the room.
REUNION:
Laura goes home to her empty house while Luke goes to his empty office. Scotty then arrives at Laura’s house. He comments on how happy she looks and she says this is the happiest she has been in a long time. Lucky shows up and says he and Scotty have a surprise for Laura. Just then Leslie, LuLu, Scotty’s parents, Serena, Bobbie and Lucas come in with balloons and cake. Laura is happy to be reunited with her mother and daughter.
Lucky goes outside and Laura follows. He tells his mother that Nik gave him the number of where Liz is. He then goes on to say he is looking forward to having a real future with Liz.
After everyone leaves, Laura goes up to the attic. She takes the map that Luke drew for the lab and folds it up. She then puts it in her big brown bag of memories. Just then the attic door opens and Luke walks in.
REUNION PT. 2
Alexis is happy to be reunited with Kristina. Kristina tells her sister that she now understands why they had her in hiding. Alexis wants to talk more but wants to take a shower first. Kristina tells her to go ahead and shower and that she will lay some clothes out for her. Jax decides to leave but Kristina tells him to stay, that she is going to make a few phone calls and have a party for Alexis.
Alexis comes downstairs in the clothes her little sister picked out for her (a tight shirt and a mini skirt). Alexis wants her other clothes back but everyone insists that she looks great. Then some of Kristina’s friends show up and the party begins.
Stephan, Nik and Gia show up. Stephan has a good laugh at Alexis’ outfit. Alexis tells him that Kristina wants to loosen her up and that he is next. Kristina is introduced to Nik and Gia. Gia tells Nik that Kristina, unlike the rest of the Cassadines, is happy and fun. Just then Tag shows up with the keys to the handcuffs and uncuffs Nik and Gia. He then tells Nik that they need to have a chat about him dating his little sister.
Jax apologizes to Stephan for blaming him for things that Starvos has done. Stephan accepts the apology. Alexis then makes a toast to a new era of Cassadines. Ones that live on hope and not evil. As Alexis is making her toast, Helena (in a nice orange jumpsuit) is sitting in her jail ceil, crying.
