Get ready for the Friday to beat all Fridays. And away we go!

1. Mac’s Office - “Time to Call in the Cavalry” - Felecia arrives at Mac’s office at the PCPD to tell him all their friends are missing and she’s afraid Helena has them in her lab. She thinks she knows how to get there. Mac wants Felecia to stay behind and out of danger. Felecia reminds him how he’s turned to her time and time again to help him solve police cases. Not this time, Mac says. How noble - and nauseating, Felecia replies. Mac gives in and they go off to save their friends.

2. The Gatehouse - “I Want More Time with My Sister” - Kristina shows Ned the box of keepsakes where Alexis has all the things from Kristina’s infancy. Ned is upset that Alexis never told him about her little sister. Kristina says the memories must have been too painful. She says she wants to spend time with Alexis, do silly things, grow old together. You’ll have time for all that, Ned reassures her. The phone rings. It’s Mac, saying he’s following a lead. Kristina is all ready to go help, but Ned convinces her to stay put. I promised Alexis I’d keep you safe, he says. Putting on a brave front, Kristina says they need to have faith. Ned hugs her.

3. The Quartermaine Mansion - “A True Quartermaine in Every Way Except One - She Really Loves A.J.” - (this scene is divided into parts, in the living room and out on the terrace) - Out on the Terrace - Having walked in on Skye and Janine’s discussion, Edward wants to know what “set-up” they’re talking about. Skye leads the way into the LIVING ROOM and covers by saying that she meant Edward set up Janine then broke her heart. Right on cue, Janine starts to cry. Edward doesn’t know what to say. He admits he doesn’t remember much about their evening together. Janine says, “Some men are unforgettable.” Edward tries to look contrite but can’t hide the gleam in his eye at this comment.

OUT ON THE TERRACE - Monica is arguing with Alan about Skye (what else is new?). She says Skye is using A.J. to get ELQ shares. Alan doesn’t believe it.

IN THE LIVING ROOM - Monica storms inside and tells Janine the con job is over. Skye is working a scam and Edward, although he probably deserves it, she says, is the victim. She says she’s going to call the police. Edward won’t have it; he doesn’t want his dirty laundry aired in public. He and Alan and Monica go back out on the terrace. Alone with Janine again, Skye demands to know what she’s really after. Janine says she’s just trying to give her kid the decent life she deserves. She said she saw her chance when Edward came to the casino and was drinking and taking his medication at the same time. Skye orders Janine to go back to the hotel and stay there. Janine leaves. Alan enters and says he realizes Skye is doing all this to get back at Edward for selling her as a baby. He says he doesn’t want her to become like the rest of the family, and he warns her that Edward will punish her for what she’s doing to him. A.J. enters and tells his father that Skye is doing this for him. Skye confesses that she doesn’t want power or control of ELQ; everything she’s doing is about getting to Sonny. He’s ruined my brother’s life and I want him to pay for it, she declares. Alan gives her this fatherly advice: watch your step and don’t do anything rash. Then he leaves. A touched A.J. tells Skye this isn’t her battle; it’s between him, Sonny and Edward. Skye says she needs to stick around to even the odds. She tells A.J. to give in and accept that she’s on his side. He says he’s on her side, too, and they hug.

ON THE TERRACE - Monica tells Edward he’s too old for these shenanigans. Edward reminds her that she holds the family record for marrital infidelity. Monica says she’s really angry that he’s giving Skye the means to ruin the family. She asks him to let her handle Janine. Edward implores her to be gentle with the poor girl who couldn’t help but fall for him. Monica says she’s had it with Skye, too.

AND NOW WHAT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR . . .

4. THE LAB - “Cracking the Code” - Stefan is hard at work trying to - what? get the computer to do something, while Lucky stands by, offering encouragement. Stefan notes that he and Lucky have come a long way since their fight in the stairwell at General Hospital. He says he understands that Helena was controlling Lucky then. You’re a fine young man, Stefan says. Laura should be proud. Suddenly, the computer announces a 15-minute countdown to the failsafe (whatever that is). Stefan seems pleased; he and Lucky leave.

5. THE PIT - “_______ to the Rescue” - Laura tries to pull Luke out of the pit. He starts to slip out of her grasp . . . and Scotty arrives in the nick of time to pull Luke to safety (heroic music playing in the background). Once on firm ground, Luke comments that he never thought he’d be glad to see Scotty. They all hear the computer countdown (14 minutes to failsafe). Luke tells Scotty to get Laura out of there; he’s going after Stavros. Laura begs him not to. A chipper Luke says, “It’s high noon and I’m not gonna miss it.” He dashes off.

6. THE MAZE - “Round and Round” - The group of Stefan, Alexis, Bobbie, Jax, Roy and Helena are lost in the maze. Alexis twists her ankle just as two more of Helena’s goons show up. Jax and Roy start fighting with them, and Helena quietly slips away. She rounds a corner to find Alexis and Bobbie blocking her escape. The group comes together again, Jax commenting that Helena hires her henchmen for “their looks, not their stamina.” Then they all hear the computer countdown (11 minutes to failsafe). Roy spots a big digital clock next to a doorway (“that makes it nice and official, doesn’t it,” he comments wryly.) Jax and Roy surmise that when the clock gets to zero, a whole bunch of steel doors slam down, locking them all inside. Helena remarks that they’re going the wrong way. She offers to tell them the way out for a deal. Jax says, no way, your revenge is going to get you nothing. They arrive back at the clock and realize they’re going in circles. Helena declares Stavros will come and save her.

7. THE BRIDAL SUITE - “Doing the Right Thing” - Nikolas and Gia run into the opulent room as the computer announces the 9-minute mark. A good grabs Nikolas from behind and starts to throttle him. Stavros comes in and Gia pleads with him to save Nikolas. Stavros orders the goon to release his son and return to his post. The muscle complies. Stavros then tells Nikolas to take Gia and go. They start to leave, but Nikolas hesitates and asks Stavros to come with them. Stavros says no, there are some things he must take care of. He tells Nikolas he is proud of him, then asks him to go quickly and be well. Nikolas and Gia leave.

8. THE CAVE - “Reunions” - Laura and Scotty are the first ones to make it through the maze and back to the cave. Lucky and Stefan come out a minute later. Laura hugs Lucky and tells him how proud she was when he stood up to Helena. Mac and Felecia arrive and rush into the tunnel. Laura tells Stefan she was wrong about him. Nikolas and Gia emerge and there are hugs all around. Bobbie comes out and Laura tells her that Luke went after Stavros. She expresses concern for his safety because of how weak he is, but Bobbie says his wits will see him through. He HAS to make it out, she adds. Roy and Lucky decide to go back into the maze to try to find Luke. Nikolas, Stefan and Alexis enjoy a group hug. Taggert starts yelling at Gia but she convinces him to give her a hug. Jax delivers Helena to Mac, who reads her her rights, while Taggert slaps the cuffs on her. A happy Nikolas, Alexis and Stefan watch.

9. THE BRIDAL SUITE - “FINAL SHOWDOWN” - Stavros walks around the room, fingering the jewels and dresses he wanted to give Laura and bemoaning the fact aloud that he won’t be able to spend time with her now. Luke shows up, and Stavros flashes his pearly whites in a gleeful grin. “I hope you kept the receipts for all this,” Luke says, glancing around the room. He suggests that Stavros come down to the police station OR they end it here and now. “I think I’ll go for the second option,” Stavros says, walking over to the bed, pulling up the bed post and brandishing a sword in Luke’s face! “You’ve seen too many movies,” Luke says. “You tried to kill me with a bed post last time,” Stavros replies. “This time I decided to be prepared.” He lunges at Luke, who quickly sidesteps and throws a pillow at Stavros. Luke runs over to the other bed post and tries to pull it off. “Do you have another sword on you?” he asks Stavros, who laughs. Luke settles for the rod at the bottom of the bed which he turns into a makeshift staff to fend off Stavros’ attack. He hits Stavros in the stomach, then hides behind a curtained door to dodge the next sword swipe. He throws a dress at Stavros. Stavros finally knocks Luke down and brings the sword down . . . on the staff. Luke jumps up and manages to get the sword away from Stavros. Stavros runs back out into the maze, Luke close on his heels. . .

10. The Gatehouse - “She Will Survive” - Kristina asks Ned to tell her more stories about Alexis like the one about when she was stranded in the desert, stories that show how invincible she is. Alexis demonstrates that herself by walking in! Kristina hugs her, and Alexis’ eyes meet Ned’s over her sister’s head. . .

11. THE PIT - “The Final, FINAL Showdown” - Luke manages to knock Stavros into the hole in the floor. As Stavros clings to the edge, Luke crouches beside him and says, “Ain’t this a shame? You’ve died twice and both times the last face you saw was mine.” Stavros just laughs and lets himself fall into the pit. Luke watches, says “yeah!” and leaves, dramatic hero (similar to Superman’s theme) music swelling in the background.

12. THE CAVE - “A Happy Ending” - Lucky and Roy come out again, Lucky nursing a sore head where he got hit from behind. A frantic Laura dashes for the tunnel entrance, Scotty following and trying to stop her. Laura watches as the clock hits zero and the steel door starts coming down . . . just as Luke scoots underneath it! The two of them hug, with a jealous Scotty looking on. Luke says, “We’re safe. The monsters are gone. We’re so overdue for a happy ending.”

THE END
