General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 7-Nov-2001

Everyone,
WELCOME TO...END GAME!

Kristina found Jax in Alexis' apartment and demanded that he tell her where her sister was. Jax admitted that Helena had taken Alexis, and Kristina couldn't stop her tears. She implored Jax to find BOTH her sister and brother, and he promised to keep her family safe.

Roy and Scott were on the roof of the hospital trying to figure out how to get into the lab. Roy planned to pry open the secret doors and try repelling down the closed shaft. Scott wanted to release Lucky and follow him when he headed to the lab. Scott could barely concentrate since he was focusing on his anger on Luke. Roy demanded that Scott stop ragging on his friend Luke and make himself useful. Roy, knowing that Luke had left clues, tried to find the key by mentally retracing Luke's steps. Suddenly, it became clearer and Roy got an idea on how they could get to the lab. He called Jax for help, they agreed to met at an undisclosed location. Before leaving, Jax warned Kristina to lock the door and open it for no one, except Ned.

Meanwhile, Lucky was surprised by a vision of Elizabeth.
The vision helps him realize that his memories of her and their love for each other were the key to escaping Helena's control. Lucky realized that he could beat Helena as long as he held onto love.

Helena had Bobbie brought to her in order to coerce Bobbie in to telling her where Luke was. Bobbie scornfully replied that even if she knew where Luke was, she would never tell.
She also warned Helena not to underestimate the Spencers. They would keep coming after HER. Maybe, one at a time or all together, but they wouldn't give up.

Nik gave Gia instructions on how to get out of the maze, but she was reluctant to leave him. He told her that she needed to bring back help, and they reiterated their love for each other. Though apprehensive, Gia started making her way through the maze.

Stefan railed against his inability to find an escape from the room, but Alexis raised his spirits by telling him what a great person he was. Lexi vowed that she would be more daring and live on the edge (in her own way) when they were away from Helena. Just then, they heard Nik outside of the room demanding that they be released-on his father's orders. With their help (they shouted insults at 'the brat' through the door) Nik managed to convince the guard to open the door. Stefan was ready with a blow that knocked the guard unconscious. Nik told Stefan and Alexis to make their escape, while he searched for Laura. Instead Stephan and Alexis headed for the 'control room' intending to destroy it and all Helena's work.

Luke burst into the room that Stavros had recreated for Laura, and he taunted Stavros about his inability to hold onto her. "She hates your guts, always has. The only woman who loves you, is your mommy". When the two started to physically fight, Luke yelled for Laura to run. But because Luke was so weak from his illness, Laura refused to leave him. Stavros managed to knock Luke unconscious, as Laura hefted a vase to crack over his head. Stavros wrestled it from her and prepared to use it against Luke, but Laura begged Stavros to spare Luke's life. Stavros' fury knew no bounds as he raged at Laura for choosing Luke over him. He finally slammed out of the room with the dire warning "You have no idea what you have just done!"


Stavros stormed into the control room and told Helena to "END IT ALL…NOW!"

Gia was nearly home free when Helena's henchmen grabbed her.

A revived Luke told a worried Laura "I want you to know that no matter what happens I…I love you and I wouldn't want to live this life without you". Laura responds in kind as Nik finds them. Luke says he may have to "check out of the game soon", but implores Nik to keep Laura safe. Nik assures Luke he will, but before they can even try to get away, Helena's men appear in the doorway. The men have also found Alexis and Stefan and everyone is brought to the lab control room.

Once all are gathered in the control room Helena tells all that it is time for the end game to begin. She announces that a 'special guest' will put an end to everything. Her men open the door to reveal…

Lucky

Holding the Ice Princess in front of him, Helena commands Lucky to fulfill the destiny she has planned for him for so many years. When she asks if he understands what he has to do, Lucky smiles and says he understands completely. Helena is stunned when Lucky firmly and coldly refuses to do her bidding. "I understand that (referring to the IP) is just a rock; You're pathetic, And this is over".
