General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 6-Nov-2001

CASSADINES/SPENCERS

Stavros appealed to Laura and Nicholas to give him a chance to start a new family together. He assured them that he loved them and is a changed man. Nik responded by pulling a gun on him, which Stavros promptly angrily recovered.

Stavros takes Laura to his "den of love" and showered her with diamonds. She knocked the jewels on the floor and rejected his overtures. The "changed" Stavros promptly knocked her to the ground.

Nik tricked one of the guards to releasing him and Gia using his status as the Cassadine prince. He told Gia to run and get help from Taggert while he tried to rescue Laura.

Sonny told Carly that he could not bring himself to sign the divorce papers because he wanted to give their marriage a second chance. Carly replied that she could not be in a marriage wondering when would he kick her out of their home again because she made a mistake. She said their marriage would have to be unconditional or else.

After watching Sonny lovingly comfort Michael, Carly agreed to let Sonny adopt Michael regardless of what happened between them. She said Michael needed both of his parents.

Liz appeared in a vision to Lucky telling him that she still loved him and that love would make him strong.
