General Hospital Update for Thursday, 1-Nov-2001

At L&B…

Kristina wants to know why Jax is running off to save Alexis. She wants to know what is going on, why Alexis needs saving. Ned suggests she let him save her and get her answers later. Edward shows up, asking Jax to stay away from Skye. Edward wants to talk to Ned and explains his predicament regarding Jeanine to him and Kristina. Ned hopes Lila finds out and divorces him, but Kristina shows compassion to the old man.


At Alexis’ penthouse…

Helena pushes her way into Alexis’ apartment and asks her if she wants a reunion with her brother. Alexis asks which brother?! Helena wonders when she found out about Stavros. Alexis stands her ground against Helena, even gets some good jabs in when she tells Helena that Mikkos loved her mother like he never loved Helena, a love she would never understand. Threats are exchanged. Jax shows up at the door but Alexis, per Helena’s orders, tries to get rid of him. He sees through her lie (“the bodyguard is drinking my coffee”) and barges in, only to get knocked unconscious by Helena’s goons. They take Alexis away and leave Jax lying there motionless.


In a romantic bedroom somewhere…

Stavros shows Stefan the room he set up to seduce Laura. Stefan is amazed that Stavros thinks Laura will suddenly want to be with him. Stavros accuses Stefan of turning Laura against him. He asks for help, how to make Laura his. When Stefan (surprise!) seems to be no help, Stavros has him escorted back to his cell. Stavros is angry, throws a glass at the door and salivates, “She WILL be mine!”


In Luke’s hospital room…

Scott barges into Luke’s room and tries reverse psychology; I suppose you’d call it. Starts yelling at him. He’s looking for Laura, but he tells Bobbie he wants Luke to get better so it’s a fair fight for Laura; so Luke is aware that Laura is choosing him. Luke wakes up and the boys argue their typical argument. Where is Laura? I’ll save Laura. Laura Laura Laura.


At Laura’s home…

Laura arrives home and finds a rose and a note from Stavros. She freaks out and locks herself in her attic, where she comes across old junk that causes her to run through memories in her mind, in search of the answer to the clue that Luke gave her regarding the laboratory…the answer is in her past. She has imaginary conversations with Scott, Stefan and Luke before realizing that the lab at GH is identical to the lab in Greece where she escaped years ago. Suddenly, she is ready to fight! She loads a gun and is ready to do what she needs to do.
