General Hospital Update for Monday, 29-Oct-2001

At the PCPD...
Jax is skeptical of Gia's claims that Stavros is alive and accuses her of being on drugs. She finally starts to convince him and he tries to call Alexis for verification. When he can't get ahold of her, he tries to leave, but Taggert and Mac stop him and throw him in jail! But, not to worry, Gia causes a disturbance and steals the key from the guard and helps Jax escape. But, she isn't quick enough because her brother catches her at the last minute!


At Laura's house...
Nikolas is trying to convince Lucky that Liz is still alive, but he isn't buying it. Laura arrives and tries her hand at convincing. Lucky finally sees the light and the brothers hug. Although they discuss tackling Helena together, Lucky thinks it's hopeless. He says Helena is too strong. Laura and Nikolas try to reassure Lucky. He finally decides he is going to fight and becomes gung ho about their fight. He boasts they have something the Cassidines don't have...love and commitment.


At the Q house...
"Hello Sweet Cheeks!" is how the mysterious Jeanine greets Edward, or as she calls him, "Eddy." He plays dumb and claims not to know her. She thinks he's kidding. She claims they spent some "magical" time together in Atlantic City, even has a picture of them together. Lila wheels in and wonders who the woman in her living room is.... Skye introduces her as an old friend from Pine Valley, in town for a PCU reunion. AJ is amused by all this. Jeanine is invited for dinner at the Q house!


At Alexis' penthouse...
Alexis is furious at Sonny for what he did to AJ. He, of course, says all he did was protect Carly & Michael. He does apologize for doing something against her principles and she tells him there had better not be any proof. Then, he gives her the lowdown on what happened with Angel, at Angel's house. He also mentions he is reconsidering getting back together with Carly. He wants her advice, her impartial advice. Alexis spouts various reasons why she is certainly not impartial. In fact, she almost tells Sonny that she is attracted to him!! Bascially, though, she suggests three choices to him: go back to Carly, dump Carly or find someone new. Sonny leaves to go find Carly.


At Carly's house...
Lucien is there when Carly gets home. He asks to take her to breakfast, but she explains she has plans to take her son to the park. Lucien tells her about how he lost his son; they sort of bond over their perceived similarities. They also find out that they agree about doing whatever it takes in the name of love. When Lucien asks if he can hang out with them, Michael says yes and he takes them to the arcade.


At the arcade...
Lucien has managed to shut down the arcade so they are the only ones there. He compliments Michael and Carly and tells her how great his son is. He wants to get him back. Then, Sonny shows up, wanting to know who is there with Carly & Michael.
