General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 24-Oct-2001

WHO DUN IT? We fans saw Agatha Christie as Mack today. He interrogated, questioned, and named 4 major suspects: AJ, Monica, Bobbie, and ,of course, the infamous Sonny. Naturally, Carly insisted on his innocence all the way. Alexis told her to get another life because Carly told Angel and Alexis that SONNY IS HERS. Carly is determined to have him back in her arms no matter what.. As Felicia and Mack discuss the case, etc., Felicia ,with her keen insight, tells Mack that someone who is cold -bloodied had to have slain Sorel... not a nurse or doctor.. Sonny follows Angel home. He asks her if she needs protection. She asks him WHY???? He lets her know that he knows that she unplugged the respirator. She said: "I thought of my pearls that he had given me when I was 16, and I knew that as long as he lived that he would hurt others----------- like you, Sonny.( WHAT DID THE PEARLS HAVE TO DO WITH HER DECISION?) At that time,Carly and Jax entered. By this time, Felicia and Mack realize that Angel could be the killer of her own flesh and blood. In the meantime, Monica, Bobbie, and Melissa state that they, perhaps, could have saved Sorel. Monica tells Alan that she had seen him cut off Sorel's meds.She said" I could have turned them back on,but I didn't.
Skye tries to persuade Jax to help her "to get" Sonny for what he did to AJ. Jax tells a determined, wily Skye that REVENGE IS BORING.Wonder if these two will have a relationship! Skye knows something about Edward that is questionable, and she plans to use the info.to blackmail him in some way.
The sweetest scene is when a lovely Gia and handsome Nicholas make up. She tells him that as long as they stick together and love each other all will be ok. Stavros is listening outside their door. He appears to be sad as he walks along the waterfront. He asks himself " Is this what I came back for.. to be so hated by my son?" He is distraught ,to say the least.
Luke is much more coherent to Bobbie. At least, he knows that it is 2001. She gives him a foul ,odorous antidote which Jax found in Helena's place so, perhaps, he is going to survive.
