General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 17-Oct-2001

Gia asks Carly for help locating "Lucien" but gets turned down flat. Lucky comes to GH to inquire about his father's condition. Meanwhile, Roy checks in on Luke and is troubled to find his old friend even more disoriented and weaker than ever. As Stavros crows to Stefan about being reunited with his son, Helena eagerly escorts Nikolas down to the underground lab. Melissa urges Lucky to put aside his fear and visit his dad. Determined to test his son's loyalty one last time, Stavros returns to his glass coffin and instructs Helena to bring Nikolas to view the "frozen remains". Mike advises Carly to consider Sonny's request an encouraging sign. Across town, however, Alexis cautions Sonny to remember that adopting Michael will tie him to Carly for the rest of his life. A frantic Luke begins calling for his son from his hospital bed. Gazing down in horror at his "late" father, Nikolas spits out his hatred for Stavros. Fighting back tears, Lucky apologizes to Luke as they share a warm embrace. Sonny offers to spend the night guarding a grateful Alexis.
