We had some good stuff on today's episode, so let get right to it...
Q GATEHOUSE:
(Say it isn't so…)
Ned looks to Jax for verification that Kristina & Alexis are sisters. Kristina steps forward and tries to bluff by saying she didn't mean 'sister' as in blood relative, she meant it as in fellow woman. Alexis arrives and before anyone else can say anything, Ned asks her if it's true that Kristina is her sister. Alexis unknowingly admits the truth herself by saying to Jax, "You told him? Is this some kind of pay back?" Jax tells Alexis that HE didn't tell, she just did! Kristina explains how Ned overheard the truth. Ned is angry and hurt at being left out of the loop. Jax tells Alexis that he wants to take Kristina away, Alexis thinks it might be a good idea. When Jax makes a comment on Stephan's escape, Alexis quickly points out that Stephan did not escape to runaway, but to help. The others realize that Alexis knew about the escape before hand. Alexis will only give them vague info. siting Attorney/Client privilege. When Ned whines some more about not being trusted, Kristina and Jax step out to give them privacy. But where to start, says Alexis. Ned tells her to start with the truth. Alexis still can't explain why she didn't tell Ned, even when he begged her to let him help. Ned says he knows that her childhood scarred her so badly, that she protects herself by not letting herself need anyone. He tells her that he realizes that he was chasing a fantasy. Alexis does give Ned a brief minimal recap of the whole story. Ned appears to be listening and accepting. Ned understands why she told Stephan, and how Jax is involved. But has a hard time getting past the fact that Sonny knows. Alexis is unable to explain why she does the things she does. She tells Ned that she will find another place for Kristina. Ned insists that Kristina stay; she will be safe from Helena there. Alexis leaves after receiving a phone call from Taggart and Ned tells Kristina that he is over Alexis.
GH:
(The way we were…)
Bobbie arrives at the nurse's stations and asks if anyone has seen Luke and Laura lately. Know-it-all Amy, tells her they WERE there, but now they've gone. Scott also inquires about Laura. Bobbie tells him she doesn't know WHERE Laura is, but whereever it is, she and Luke are together. As usual Scott take a couple of potshots at Luke and Bobbie defends him. Bobbie admits to Scott that she is scared for Luke. Scott assures Bobbie that Luke will be ok, just like always and they reminisce about the old days. For some reason Bobbie mentions the 'special magic' that Luke and Laura had. She also tells Scott that if he tries to duplicate what Luke and Laura had (to win Laura over) he'll fail. Jax arrives as Scott leaves and tells Bobbie that he knows something is going on, he doesn't know what it is, but he might be able to help. He shows Bobbie the silver case containing the vial and tells her he found it in Helena's hotel suite.
WYNDEMERE:
(Mommie Dearest…)
Helena rushes into Stephan's office expecting to find Stavros, which she does. Only he is chained to a chair (way to go Stephan!!!). As Helena demands an explanation, Stephan steps from the shadows pointing a gun at both. Stephan tells mommie dearest to can the attitude or she just might get to see her first born bite the dust…again! Stephan flings a few taunts at his captive audience. When Stavros makes a few cutting remarks of his own, Stephan points out that he's smarter than Stavros, that's why Stavros is chained to a chair and Stephan is in control. Helena asks who else knows that Stavros is alive and Stephan says noone, yet. Helena tells Stephan that they can still settle things as a family. Stephan laughs and replies, "What did you have in mind, one of those family dinners, with forks on the left, knives in the back?" Helena then changes tactics and tells Stephan maybe they can compromise and rule the Cassadines together. She even goes as far as to say that Stavros has be a disappointment since his return. Stephan says they should turn the "frozen freak" over to the police. Helena asks what Stephan really wants.
WAREHOUSE ON DOCKS:
(The Way we Were II…)
Laura tells Luke that she does love him (as a friend) and that will never change. Luke insists that is not what he meant. He takes her down memory lane and tells her he loves her and needs her just like always. Laura says now is not the time for this and tries to explain to Luke that what he is feeling is a result of Helena messing with his mind, "You're in the past, I'm in the present". Luke says it doesn't matter WHEN they are, they have to hang on to the love, and says he wants to start over with her. He then invites her on a date as he starts to remember the drive-in theater they frequented in Canada. They reminisce about some of the horror classics that Luke liked. When Luke says, "Don't look in the freezer", Laura realizes that it's not a movie title, but a reference to Helena's lab. She presses him and he says he does remember where the lab is. Laura tells Luke they'll go on a date, but first he has to tell her where the lab is. Luke can't get past the wall in his mind, but thinks he might be able to draw a map. While he is trying to draw he tells Laura that he's sorry for all the pain he's caused her over the years, then suddenly asks if he signed divorce papers. Laura mentions the hospital blueprints Luke had and wonders if the lab could be somewhere at GH. Luke gets upset when his map is unreadable and tears it up. He starts to talk about the hands (that save him) in his recurring dreams. He is sure that they belong to Laura. Suddenly he collapses, and just like in the dream, Laura reaches out and tells Luke to take her hands and he'll be ok.
CASSADINE LAB:
(How sweet it is…)
Helena brings Stephan to the lab and he admires the irony of where it is. Helena complains about Stavros being obsessed with Laura and tries to tempt Stephan with promises of everything he's always wanted. Stephan replies that it isn't possible since the woman he loved is dead. Some of Helena's men enter and ask if she needs assistance. Stephan announces to the men that he is now in charge and urges Helena to confirm it, so that they can get back to the pressing matter they left at Wyndemere (referring to Stavros). Helena introduces Stephan to her men and tells them that Stephan will now be giving the orders. That said, Stephan tells the men his first order. Pointing at the cryogenics chamber, he says "Empty that of wine and put her (Helena) in it!
WYNDEMERE:
(A Cassadine by any other name…)
Taggart and another officer (sorry don't know his name) enter Stephan's office searching for the fugitive. They hear muffled noises coming from a trunk, and find Stavros still chained up. While the officer searches for the keys, Stavros explains to Taggart how he ended up in the trunk. He says he's a business associate of Stephan's. He arrived for the meeting and was attack by Stephan and stuffed in the trunk. When asked, he says he's been out of town for a long time and didn't know Stephan was a fugitive. As soon as he is released, Stavros tries to leave, but Taggart stops him saying they aren't finished yet. He calls Alexis and wants her to come over to see if she can confirm Stavros' story. Alexis asks for a description, then tells Taggart that he is dangerous and Taggart shouldn't let him go, as she will be right over. Taggart then tells Stavros that Stephan' s sister is on her way. Stavros says he hasn't seen Alexis in years, and doubts she will remember or recognize him.
