General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 10-Oct-2001

Carly came home to find Lucien Cane waiting in her living room. Initially irritated, Carly was pleased when he told her that he had thought of a way to help her take back Deception. Sonny showed up to discuss the terms of their divorce, and was surprised to find another man there. When Sonny demanded Lucien leave, he casually sat down on the couch and told Sonny, “I don’t like your attitude.” Carly was obviously pleased that Lucien and Sonny was sparring over her. Lucien continued outrageously flirting with Carly, telling her how beautiful she was and generally pissing Sonny off.

Later, after Carly asks Lucien to leave, Sonny interrogates her about his background and tells her she is too smart to trust a stranger. Carly tells him that he doesn’t get to divorce her AND decide who she dates “or sleeps with”.

Liz continued her nasty tirade against Gia for “selfishly” being hurt and angry that Nik had repetitively lied to her, demeaned her, and refused to trust her during the months of their planning to save Lucky. She told Gia that it broke Nik’s heart to do what he did to her and that she was not good enough for him. Later, she wrote a sappy love letter to Lucky telling him for the 900th time that she’s gonna make him remember their love. Nik poured his heart out to Gia, crying and begging her for forgiveness. Gia appeared torn.

Lucky and Granny battled wills over the vial of biotoxin and the Ice Princess. Even though Lucky fought it, he eventually fell captive to Helena’s programming (surprise). Stavros walked in on the pair and was unpleasantly surprised to see that Lucky was still alive. Granny told Stavros to leave Lucky alone.

Stefan faked a heart attack to facilitate his prison break. Melissa, Laura, and Roy covered for him, causing a scene at the hospital while he snuck away. Jax caught Stefan and prepared to drag him back to the police. Alexis intervened and told Jax that there was a lot of things going on that he didn’t know about. She finally got him to let Stefan go by saying, “If you’ve ever cared for me, then I need you to trust me on this.” Mac interrogated the trio and did not believe their stories.

Bobbie spent all day tending by the side of a deranged Luke. When she went out to get food. Luke disappeared. Later he reappeared to Laura at GH.
