General Hospital Update for Thursday, 4-Oct-2001

A tearful Elizabeth goes by to tell Lucky that she is leaving PC. She is saying goodbye to him forever. He seems somewhat confused by her sad farewell, but he doesn't try to stop her. Nicholas has decided that the medicine Bobbie gave Laura may be too potent and risky to give to Liz. He simply asks Liz to leave PORT Charles. However, We see a lovely ,evil Helena preparing for the dinner party for Elizabeth's demise. Nicholas hesitantly puts the drug in Liz's wine. As Helena is toasting Elizabeth and Nick, Lucky enters.He is irate, and he demands to know why Elizabeth is there.Prior to this moment, Gia has told Lucky that a DARK, SINISTER Nicholas plans to murder Liz. Now Lucian ,or rather ,the menacing , deplorable Stavros appears on the waterfront. Gia looks frightened. This viewer wonders if Stavros will choose Gia as his second victim to kill. He knows that the inquisitive Gia knows too much. In the meantime ,a very sick Luke who thinks he is in the late 70s tells Laura how much he loves and wants her. She plays along with him while Scott gets Bobbie. Bobbie knows that She must calm him down and get a blood sample to take to Tony. Will She and Tony be able to help Luke so he can save Laura from the villains? Who Knows? This plot is thickening as Kristina finally realizes that she must hide at Ned's to avoid getting killed. Alexis asks Laura whom Stephan keeps referring to, and Scotty adds," I want to know too." The loving, dutiful Scotty will not leave Laura's side.He is desperate to protect Laura, but he's not quite sure from what.Tune in tomorrow for answers to the questions raised in today's eerie show.
