General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 2-Oct-2001

What should have been an interested series of events deadpanned because of unbelievably horrid writing and feeble lines.....Are people actually getting paid for this?

Alexis and Jax
sparred over plans for hiding Kristina. She chided him for hiding her at Ned's, he chided her for trusting Sonny. Alexis tells Jax he doesn't get to decide who she trusts with HER sister.

Kristina asks Alexis what happened between her and Ned. She replies, "I don't know." (Oh, come on, please!!!)

Gia/Nik/Liz
The most pathetic lines in a potentially great scene....Gia confronts Nik over Liz and tells him not to hurt her. She pours her heart out to him, begging him to change his mind. They kiss passionately, but he tells her that he can't stop. She does *not* tell him she overheard his plan to kill Liz.

Laura gives Liz the medicine to fake her death -- 4 drops and she's out for an hour. Any more and she's dead permanently. Laura gives her one last chance to back out. She says she can't.
Nik officially tells Granny that he will kill Liz.

The Spencers
Lucky, Roy, and Melissa finds Luke sleeping in a hole in a wall (?) Lucky is stunned that Luke is alive, but Luke doesn't remember him. Luke's memory loss makes him think that it is 1979 and that they are still plotting against Frank Smith!
Roy brings Luke and Laura together in a secluded cabin. Laura breaks down when she she's how bad Luke's condition is.

Ned & Alexis
Ned tells Alexis that he is still in love with her. When she refuses to trust him, he tells her that it is over. Kristina criticizes Ned for his treatment of Alexis. He tells her to stay out of his business.


Tomorrow......
Carly says "no way" to Sonny's divorce request.
AJ refuses to give up his claim for Michael.
Stavros waits for Gia in her room.
