General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 26-Sep-2001

I know that this is long, but its detailed. It's my first update... hope it helps!

At Carly's house:
Sonny and Carly talk about Michael and how the riding of the bike is going. Sonny tells Carly that the training wheels are coming off next week and Carly says that’s too soon, what if he falls? Sonny said you just get back up and ride again. Carly said that that’s good advice to which Sonny says only for riding a bike. Sonny then gives Carly the divorce papers.

At Angel's Lake House:
Jax and Angel discuss Sonny more. She tells him of the run in she had with Carly. Jax asks if she is involved with Sonny. She replies it depends on what you mean by involved.

At the PCHG:
Gia accuses Liz of covering something up. She is trying to blow Liz out of the water about her fake relationship with Nik. Liz gets up to leave but Gia tells her she's not leaving until she tells her what is going on.

Somewhere in PC:
Roy and Lucky continue their look for Luke. They are in what appears to be a house. Roy points out fresh fruit and a hot stove, noting someone must have just left. Lucky says that maybe the person was trying to get away. They went outside to look around.

At Laura's:
She thinks she sees Stavros in the window. She runs to get a baseball bat from the closet and un-chains the door to go peep around outside. There is a very eerie feeling to this scene.

Back at where Roy and Lucky are:
Roy asked whey they were there. Lucky says that we faced a lot of truths here. Roy asks, what kind? After the rape, Luke and Lucky went to that place. There Luke got caught in a wolf trap. He told Lucky that no matter what he always loved his mother and she always loved him, but it wasn't his place (lucky) to judge them. Roy asks why come here? Lucky says to make peace with himself before he dies. Roy says no, he's not going to die. But Lucky brings up the coffin, that Luke drew it. Roy says you don’t know that. How do you know it was he that was here and not some transient? Because of the ingredients to make Spencer omelets. Lucky says, "I love him, wish I could tell him". Roy says you will have that chance. Lucky gets a strange look over his face and suddenly says we need to get out of here. He has a feeling something bad is happening to Laura.

Back at Laura's:
Laura swings the bat. Its just Scotty. Scotty asks if it is Luke. He wants to call the cops but Laura says no. He takes the bat from Laura they go back inside. He didn’t see anyone out there, and then asks what’s going on: who's after you, Helena's goons? Laura tells him that he has no idea how close he is to the truth but doesn’t tell him her suspicions about Stavros. Outside Stavros peals petals from a rose
"She loves me she loves me not, it makes no difference"

Back at Carly's:
Carly thought Alexis was going to give her the divorce papers, Sonny says he wanted to make sure she got them. She throws the paper down. She goes into why he should stay with her, proved to you Angel with two timing him with Jax. Sonny says he doesn't owe Angel anything, he offered to pay her but she wouldn’t take the money. Carly talks about her competition with Angel. Angel brings up how I treated you, throwing it in my face that she saved you. Sonny says that Angel doesn’t have to do that because he sees it every time he closes his eyes. He tells Carly that they're not getting divorced because of Angel or Jax; there marriage is over because she killed it.

Back at the PCHG:
Gia asks Liz why Nik doesn’t show it that he wants her. Liz tells her that she doesn’t have what he needs. Liz tells Gia to drop it.

In Helena's suite:
Nik tells Helena that Liz is not a traitor; Lucky took the ice princess, not Liz. Helena questions Liz's loyalty, says that she clearly has feelings for Lucky. Nik says that he likes that about her, she doesn’t lie about her feelings. He tells Helena that if she’s going to make a big about her that he’ll break things off. Helena thinks that his proclamation was to easy for him to claim.

Back at Laura’s:
Scotty tells Laura that he’d do anything to protect her but he needs to know what’s going on. Laura tells Scotty that she can’t bring him into it because of Serena. She tells him that she should have walked away from him the first time. Scott tells her that he loves her. Laura tells him that her imagination got the best of her and it was nothing. Scotty tells her to call him if he needs anything, and not to go outside. His phone rings and he says its Jerry. He says, “Is it Spencer? Let me know when you get proof”. Laura wants to know if it is a lead on Luke. Scotty doesn’t want to leave her but she insists telling him she’s fine and she wants him to find Luke.

Back at Carly’s:
Carly tells Sonny that she didn’t want to marry him in the first place and Sonny tells her she was right. She says that she learned a lesson, and he asks if she learned it from Jax. He accuses her of trying to get him to jump on Jax for sleeping with Angel. He tells her that if he wants to trash Angel to go ahead it wont change what’s between them. She tries to touch him and he tells her not to. He told her that she lied to him since the day they took their vows she made promises and had no idea what they meant. He tells her that honor is whatever gives you what you want. He tells her that she’s brave and strong and a fighter but she only fights for herself. Carly tells him that she loves him and Sonny shakes his head. He tells her that he can’t do it because she will just turn her back on him. Carly tells Sonny that he is just trying to convince himself; she can hear it in his voice.

Back at Angels:
Jax tells Angel that they should have went to Paris that way she would have never met Sonny. He tells her that Sonny gives all women the same story that he’s in pain and they can save them. He goes on to say that he makes the women dependent on him and when they have nothing he leaves them. Angel says that she’s not Brenda to Sonny or Jax. He says that Brenda was the same way before she got involved with Sonny. She tells Jax she’s seen worse than Sonny and that she doesn’t need him to protect me; she understands him, he can’t hurt her. Jax says he’s heard those words before (referring back to Brenda) and tells her that he IS going to protect her.

Back at Carly’s:
Sonny tells Carly to sign the papers. Carly tells Sonny that he can’t shut down how he feels about her; let yourself forgive. He then puts the papers in her hand. He bought Michael a toy boat give it to him in the morning. He tells her that everything costs. He asks her where she was when she came to PC, she had a made up name and slept with Tony to get back at Bobbie. He asks her what she has now, a son house and money. He asks her what it cost her, your heart that little part of yourself that you try to keep clean? He tells her that he sold of the honor trust and graces that let him stay with her, he traded it in for power. He tells her that he isn’t in the position to forgive her and never was (he says this with a very shaky voice). Carly tells him not to throw “us” away, to listen to his heart.

Back at Laura’s:
Laura leaves a message for Roy telling him to call her back as soon as he can; she needs to know if Lucky is all right. She hears something near the window and grabs the bat and yells: who's there? Who is it? A picture fell of the dresser by the window and the window was open. She is frantic looking around. Stavros appears from a hallway, unbeknownst to Laura.

Back at Carly’s:
Sonny tells Carly that he can stop the divorce but it will cost everything he is. If he takes her back he’s not loyal to his men. He tells her that every thing he has earned he will lose because of her. He says that he would have lied if he snitched to the FBI, his honor cant be questioned it is who he is. Carly tells Sonny that she knows he wants it (it referring to a family) and he tells her that she’s wrong. She tells him that she’ll just sit by the window with nights and days filled with business longing for the family he threw away. She asks him how long he can live in that pain, he says as long as he has to.

Back at the PCHG:
Gia tells Liz that she looks upset; Liz says you’re not my favorite person. Gia tells her to just answer and she’ll leave. What is it you don’t want to do? Liz replies: I don’t want to hurt you that’s why I told you to drop it. He dumped you move on. Make something positive. Gia says “I don’t know why he dumped me for a drip like you, I don’t need this”. Gia leaves.


Back in Helena’s Suite:
Nik asks Helena what she wants. Helena tells him that he hasn’t changed since he was a little boy and his dog dies. She tells him that he has a soft center and that he doesn’t have a grasp of the big picture. Just then Gia walks up to Helena’s door and listens. Nik tells Helena not to deny him his inheritance; he threatens her with legal action. Helena tells him that challenging her is not the way to prove himself. Nik tells her that if there is another test he’ll do it. Helena gets a glistening in her eye and tells him she needs time to think. She leaves and Gia runs to hide. Nik walks out and sees Gia. He asks her what she is doing hiding in the hallway.

Outside of Laura’s:
There is a loud scream. Roy and Lucky go running to Laura. She says he is here stop him catch him. Lucky asks who and she says “the monster”. Lucky tells her he wont let him get her.

Back at Angel’s:
Jax tells Angel that he has a yacht and that they could go to the Bahamas. He asks her if she would rather be there then chasing a criminal? She tells him that she’s cruel. He says he’s honest and will do his best not to let her get her. He’s involved even if she doesn’t like it. She tells him to help Kristina. Jax stays the night at Angel’s.

Back at Carly’s:
Carly tells Sonny that they were good in bed, and Sonny tells her that they can find other sexual partners. Sonny tells her that he can’t change is mind, cant change him. He told her that he never lied about who he was or the way he lived. He says they don’t work and no amount of love will fix that. Carly asks him how to stop what she feels. She says she should hide like he does with Angel? She says she’ll fight for the both of them. He tells her that he’ll have Alexis pick up the papers after she signs them. He turns and leaves. Carly looks at the papers and rips them up.

In the hallway outside Helena’s suite:
Gia tells Nik that she was heading to her room and saw Helena and didn’t want to get into or face after talking with Liz. She tells him that the bartender was hitting on Liz. He tells her that he has calls to make and leaves. She says to herself, something’s not right.

Back down in the PCHG:
Helena runs into Liz and asks why she’s still there. Liz tells her that she’s thinking about how much trouble Helena went through to get them together. Helena brings up Lucky and Liz tells her that se is committed to Nik; she’d do anything to stay with him; even if she has to be friendly with his Grandmother. Liz says goodnight and leaves. Helena looks like she’s scheming things up in her head.

Back at Laura’s:
Roy tells Laura that whoever it was got away. He shows Laura the Cassadine medallion, and tells her that Felicia left it at Luke’s Place and how she (Felicia) got it. Laura looks at it and says- Oh my god, it’s his! Roy says who. Stavros!
