General Hospital Update for Monday, 24-Sep-2001

Today's GH had a lot of good twists and turns! The most comical part was when the two SONNY-STRICKEN BABES, Carly and Angel, almost had a cat fight. They threw champagne in each other's faces. Oh me , Let the fun begin. :-) In Angel's confrontation with Sonny, She admitted that she had had an affair with Jax in Europe.She says:"I also had a business deal with him". An angry Angel lets Sonny know that" Her World"
does not revolve around him. He is still suspicious as to why she helped him to live. Angel tells him that he is much too paranoid and egotistical for her to reason with.So, She leaves to find Carly.
Meanwhile , Melissa and Roy go to a cold, eerie cave hoping to find and to help a sick Luke. When Lucky shows up , Roy tells him why they are there.Lucky says, in reference to a coffin, that the monster is there. Naturally ,Roy applies a little pressure to find out what Lucky is babbling about. Melissa asks him to chill as she uses a softer, more psychological touch with the confused Lucky.Melissa knows that something is amiss with Lucky's thinking.
A jailed Stephan talks to Laura who thinks he is innocent and in need of help. She and he tell about episodes that seemed to hint of Stavros. For example, Laura thought that she had seen Stavros outside her window. Also, someone has been leaving roses, etc. for a scared, puzzled Laura.Alexis comes and tries to help figure out the DNA test results. She tells Stephan that the test definitely reveals that it is his DNA or the DNA of a full-bloodied sibling. He thinks about all the coincidences and wonders to himself if Stavros could indeed be alive.Meanwhile, a cunning Stavros is toasting his Switching of DNA samples with the cruel MOTHER HELENA.Will someone be scientific enough to figure out the DNA evidence?Will Stephan and Laura be able to hold onto their sanity? It's anyone's guess, isn't it?
At the close of today's episode, an angry, sneering Jax goes to see a still-fuming Sonny. It looks as if both men are going after the once LADY-IN-WHITE, Angel. Tune in on Tuesday to find out. Jackie
