1. CARLY’S NEW HOUSE - “Playing House with the Corrinthos Family” - Carly is so happy to have Michael back, but he wants to know where Uncle Sonny is. He says he can call him all by himself because Sonny’s bodyguard Adam taught him the number. While Carly is upstairs showing Leticia her room, Michael does call Sonny and invite him over. Carly gives Michael a two-wheeler with training wheels. Sonny arrives and Carly convinces him to teach Michael to ride. Outside, a thrilled Carly watches Sonny and Michael together. Inside, when Michael’s out of the room, Sonny accuses her of using Michael against him, just like she used to use the kid to jerk Jason around. Carly denies any knowledge of Michael calling Sonny. When he comes downstairs, she persuades him to call Mike and tell him about his new bike. An eager Michael demonstrates to Uncle Sonny how he can use the phone all by himself. Michael then gives Sonny and Carly a seashell, which they must share because it’s the only one he could find that was good enough. The two adults break it to Michael that they are not living together. Later, when Michael is again out of the room, Sonny says he knows Michael’s heart is breaking because he remembers how he felt when Mike left. He says he doesn’t want Michael screwed up; he made promises to the boy he had no right to make. Carly says her son will be okay; he has her, and he needs to know his mother is strong and independent. Then she says that Sonny may learn to forgive and love again the new her, which prompts him to drop the bombshell that he’s filing for a divorce and Alexis will be serving her the papers. Ouch! Carly declares she’ll fight him. Sonny says, “You always do,” and leaves. (Note: Carly has finally changed her clothes. This outfit is much better, complements her coloring nicely.)
2. POLICE STATION - “Here’s Your Killer; You Find the Evidence” - A.J. tells Mac and Taggert that he overheard Carly telling Mike in the E.R. that she had already tried to kill Sorrel by pulling the plug and Sonny covered for her. A.J. points out that Carly was a physical therapist and had one year of nursing school (like she retained anything from that) so she had the medical know-how to turn off the pulse alarm. He goes on to say he’s scared for his son and Carly and Sonny are dangerous. Mac wisely remarks the police are not concerned with custody issues. Taggert turns the tables on A.J. and asks what he was doing at the hospital the night Sorrel was murdered. A.J. said he went for an AA meeting but was too late. He saw Carly and Mike when he was leaving. Taggert asked how he felt about Sorrel. A.J. says he hated the guy but didn’t kill him.
3. JAX’ HOTEL SUITE - “A Dangerous Game” - Kristina says she feels caged. Jax starts to tell her about Alexis’ personality when Helena arrives. Kristina hides on the balcony/terrace (what floor are they on?) and listens to the enemies’ conversation. Jax tells Helena he’s still raiding Cassadine corporations. Helena threatens fatal consequences. Jax is surprised she’s resorting to death threats so early in the game. He observes that she is unusually nervous and wonders what she’s hiding. Helena threatens Alexis’ life. Jax says he discovered someone had siphoned millions of dollars out of a Cassadine company; he promises he’ll find the money. Helena leaves. Jax tells an incredulous Kristina that Helena’s death threats are real. He says he’ll find out what she’s hiding, but until he does, she needs to stay out of sight. He leaves to find Alexis.
4. A CHURCH - “Hear My Confession, Brother Stavros” - Stefan goes into a confessional and proclaims he wants to be a better person. Stavros, disguised in monk’s robes and with a phony Irish accent, plays his part on the other side of the confessional. He tosses out such advice as “honor your mother” and tells Stefan he’ll never be good enough. A rattled Stefan mentions Stavros’ name, leading the fake monk to ask about his brother. “Did you covet what he had? Did you lust after his wife? Did you commit adultery?” an increasingly angry Stavros demands, twisting a rope between his hands. He strongly suggests that Stefan do penance for his crimes. A disturbed Stefan leaves the confessional just as Helena comes into the church. She says she had him followed then asks him to stop Jax from raiding Cassadine industries. Stefan declares his intention to liquidate the family assets and give them to charity. Helena says she won’t let him squander Nikolas’ inheritance. Is he trying to prove he’s worthy of Chloe? Stefan says he’s trying to resurrect the self-respect that his mother killed in him. He leaves and Stavros emerges from hiding. Helena wants to know why he’s amusing himself by impersonating a monk. She demands that Stavros get rid of his brother immediately.
5. CHLOE’S HOSPITAL ROOM - “Forgive and Forget” - Alexis comes to visit with key lime pie and asks if Chloe is ready to swear off men again. Stefan or Jax? Chloe wants to know. She says she has realized that Jax deserves happiness, only it won’t be with her. And she can never be with Stefan, either. He wanted her to “fix” him. Chloe tells Alexis that some financier (Lucien ) she barely knows even told her Stefan was untrustworthy. She admits to caring about Stefan but she could never feel safe with him. Alexis confesses she secretly wanted Chloe as her sister-in-law but a best friend will do. Chloe makes Alexis promise to come see her in Milan. Stefan arrives as Alexis is leaving and asks Chloe to hear him out one last time.
6. HOSPITAL HALLWAY - “I Have a Surprise for You” - Jax catches up with Alexis and promises to tell her what’s going on but not at the hospital. They leave together.
