General Hospital Update for Monday, 27-Aug-2001

At PCPD...

Alexis agrees to represent Angel. Sonny asks her to just make it disappear. Alexis asks Angel some questions about her actions, etc... Meanwhile, Taggert has questions of his own for Sonny. Carly admits to Mike that she was going to retract her statement, until Angel & Sonny showed up at the police station together. That made her bitter; she is not fond of the "lady in white" at all and wants to see her pay. Mac asks to question Carly, telling her things in her statement "don't add up." While questioning Carly, it becomes clear that Angel could be a suspect in Sorel's death and Carly agrees. She is excited about this prospect and tells Mike she may not have to do anything herself to get rid of Angel. Sonny comes in to the questioning room and tells her to leave, but Carly starts yelling at him, whining about all she did for him, what she did to Sorel, blah blah blah. Taggert & Mac are listening in all the while and are interested to hear what exactly she did to Sorel! Sonny covers her mouth before she can blurt anything out, though.


At Port Charles Hotel...

Chloe has been knocked down, hits her head! Ned calls for an ambulance while Stefan & Jax yell at each other. Helena overhears their arguing and gets the bright idea to kill Stefan and make it look like Jax is guilty. She later shares this plan with Stavros. First, though, she is stopped by Gia, who has thrown food on her and thanks her for programming Lucky to forget about Elizabeth and to be more fun. As Helena leaves, Gia makes a quick call to Elizabeth to tell her to get out of Helena's room ASAP! Too late, however, as Stavros has already caught Elizabeth red-handed. She tells him she is Nikolas' girlfriend and was up there earlier and lost a ring. Stavros introduces himself as a business associate of Helena's and of course, doesn't buy a word of Elizabeth's story. She manages to escape, but not before Helena reappears and wonders why the young lady is in her room, again.

Meanwhile, in Gia's room, Lucky looks at Gia's portfolio and the pictures of Gia morph into Elizabeth! Then, he sets out to get himself some ice cubes and of course, the ice is in one gigantic chunk and looks a lot like the Ice Princess, so he starts to zone out. He climbs out on the windowsill. When Gia & Elizabeth come back to the room, however, Lucky is asleep on the bed. Elizabeth wants to stay. The girls make a pact; Gia agrees to watch out for Lucky and Elizabeth agrees to make sure that Nikolas doesn't sell out completely.


At the hospital...

Chloe has a mild concussion. The guys are still fighting outside her room. Tony says one can go in at a time. Ned goes in. She tells him she is still going to move back to Milan. She asks Jax to go home. Stefan sneaks in when Ned & Jax are gone. Chloe is sleeping, but Stefan vows to prevent her from leaving.


At Jax' hotel room....

We finally see and hear the mysterious Kristina. Jax has left her a note by the necklace, which she tries on. Later, when Jax returns home, she laments how boring it is to be stuck in the room and wants to be able to do things. Jax tells her it is dangerous and she needs to stay hidden until the time is right. He also tells her that he doesn't want her to become a casualty in the war that is heating up.
