General Hospital Update for Monday, 20-Aug-2001

At the safe house...

Nikolas brings Helena to Lucky's hiding place. Liz runs to hide in the closet. Helena wants Lucky to tell her who kidnapped him? Lucky realizes what is happening and admits that Nikolas showed up after the goons grabbed him. The two guys fight, literally, convincing Helena that they are definitely not working together. Nikolas demands that Helena show him how to program Lucky, he wants him to forget about Liz. Helena reminds Nikolas if she destroys Lucky's love for Liz, it will be gone forever. Nik thinks about it for awhile and tells her to go through with it. Of course, Liz is still hiding in the closet. Helena starts her programming with Lucky, asks him to name memories of him & Liz and then they will disappear. She pulls out the Ice Princess and Liz can see that this is the triggering device. Helena finishes her programming and leaves. Liz comes out of the closet....will Lucky remember her?


At Angel's hideaway...

Jax & Angel hug, happy to see each other. Apparently, they knew each other in Monaco at some point. He teases her about living out in the woods. She asks him about some mysterious, unnamed person. He says she is trying to decide what to do.(??!!) Boxes are everywhere and he asks her if she is moving. Angel asks if he watched the news, that her father's been killed. He hugs her and offers to take care of the funeral arrangements and such. He also sets off on a diatribe about men in her father's world and the way they treat women. Angel admits that she wants her father's killer to get away with it.


At Sonny's office...

Carly is spastic about Angel and how she put Sonny in danger by introducing them and she had no idea it was Sorel's daughter. Sonny explains that he already knew who Angel was. Carly thinks Sonny had Angel checked out because he still cares about her, she says it is a sign they can get back together. Sonny nips that in the bud by telling Carly exactly when and how he met Angel and how she saved his life.


In Gia's hotel room...

Lucien shows up to see Gia and hears about what happened at the auction. She mentions that she is still affected by Nikolas, unfortuneately. Lucien gives her a beautiful pin as a present and then proceeds into talking her into suing the Cassidines, Nikolas in particular, for damages and lost modeling wages. She thinks it is a great idea and heads off to tell Stefan of her plans. Lucien urges her to wear the pin.


At the Cassidine castle...

Stefan is asleep on the couch and Stavros hovers over him, talking to him as he sleeps. Reminding him that he is worthless. Stavros sneaks out through the secret passageways and Stefan wakes up, unsettled. Then he sees a wrecked toy ship laying on the ground, just like one Stavros had broken when they were children. Alexis shows up and sees him totally freaked out. He claims Stavros was there talking to him. Alexis reminds him that Stavros is dead and if anything happened, Helena was behind it. He is still really freaked out. Then, Gia arrives and announces her plans. Stefan stops cold in his tracks when he sees the pin she is wearing!
