General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 17-Jul-2001

THe radio narration sets the stage for the bomb explosion in the elite building, on the elite floor. We see Zander, Alexis, Carly, and Taggert lying, possibly dead, amidst the rubble of the explosion. FAN TO GH, where Bobby hears the news, ROy comes right as she is ready to dash, and calmly leaves with him. She's too calm. She later tells him she approves of what he tried to help Carly do, and will also do the same, to keep carly fom Sonny.
The whole show emits a calmness. Tagert awakes, as if he's had to much to drink, not being able to awaken the aforementioned victims, in alexis' apartment.
He stumbles toward Sonny's, and is found passed out once again.
All the tumult outside, the usual, Lucky and the Prince see each other, and, exchange LUcky's concerns; and Elizabeth demands from Nicholas an explanation. He only admits to loving Lucky. He is torn up over Helena's previous demand.

MELIssa, Roy, and Bobby make it upstairs, and all the points awaken. Amazingly, as the buildng might fall down, but the elevator is working within moments, for the bomb squad to enter.

Angel listens on the island and makes it to the scene.

After carly finds Sorel, grinning that Sonny went "boom", Carly is pissed and mom tries to pull her away, b4 she finds Sonny. Eventually, she hears the watch Sonny wears, and roy and Carly and Bobby try to uncover , show over.

Downstairs, when Angel sees Sorel being wheeled out, and he ain't dead yet, she glares...is she his daughter? the bet is good.

All the inter parts with Alan and Skye, with AJ, I fast forwarded through.
I"d have fallen asleep. Suffice, that stuff will repeat.

Note: when Alexis awakes, she asks how Sonny is, Zander is patched up with saran wrap by Bobby and Melissa, and Roy is overly , calmly concerned with Melissa..and Bobby?
