General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 27-Jun-2001

At General Hospital...

Hospital elevator---Stavros flirts with Chloe, pretending he is a huge fan of her company and tells her he has some global marketing advice for her. They part, but when she meets up with him again later, he introduces himself as Lucien Kane and they agree to make plans to meet at the Grill for dinner.


Nurse’s Station---Bobbie & Luke try unsuccessfully to find something on the computer about the mysterious shipments from the Cassidines. They talk about Roy once again and how Bobbie is through with him.


Hospital elevator---Luke is going down to find Roy and ends up with an orderly taking a corpse to the morgue. Luke comments that seeing a corpse could be unsettling to some and then notices the toe tag on the dead body says “Luke Spencer.” Luke freaks out a little and pulls off the sheet. Guess what? It’s not him. Meanwhile, we see Stavros standing outside the elevator, smirking.


In Emily’s room---Elizabeth visits, brings some gifts and asks Emily if she will be her maid of honor. Emily, of course, accepts. The wedding will be at the end of the summer.


Outside Emily’s room---Zander explains to Ned that he will stay with Emily forever, even if she is paralyzed. He says he loves her. Ned finally seems to believe it. They discuss that they won’t tell Emily how serious her condition is for now. Alexis walks up and overhears Ned being reasonable with Zander and thanks him. Chloe stops by to visit Emily and when Stefan shows up, too, Ned lectures Chloe about staying away from Stefan. Chloe politely tells him that her love life is none of his business. Meanwhile, after Chloe leaves, Ned puts down the Cassidines to Alexis. Go figure, she is not pleased and leaves.


Storage room in basement---Melissa insists on helping Roy with his snooping. She doesn’t like Helena and still feels responsible because the sample of Lucas’ poison disappeared. Roy explains the danger, but finally agrees, only to have Luke show up and refuse her help. He doesn’t know her and doesn’t trust her. She says she will keep her eyes and ears open. Luke doesn’t seem happy about it but Melissa is going to help.


On the docks...

Nikolas is knocked unconscious and Lucky is furious, until Helena pulls out the Ice Princess and he turns into a zombie. Helena tells Lucky it’s important that no one realizes they are still friends. Nikolas awakens momentarily and in his haze, hears Helena’s orders. After she leaves, Lucky denies that she was there. Nikolas knows what’s going on, though, and goes off to find Luke.


At Angel’s hideaway...

Mike says he knows where Sonny is hiding and Carly demands to be taken there. Mike reconsiders and doesn’t tell her anything. Carly doesn’t understand why Mike said he knew when he doesn’t. Angel says this is probably a private matter you should discuss amongst yourselves. Carly explains to Angel that her husband is not the mob monster that people think he is. Before leaving, Mike says that he and Carly just want Sonny to be safe and happy. Sonny, of course, overhears all of this. Mike leaves Sonny’s ring where he found it and takes Carly home. After Carly & Mike leave, Angel tells Sonny he can stay or go, whichever. She also doesn’t demand he give her any answers. She does tell him that it’s obvious Carly loves him a lot. Sonny says she thinks she loves him, but, bottom line, he can’t live with someone he doesn’t trust.



At Sonny’s penthouse...

Carly asks Mike yet again why he sounded so sure about where Sonny was. Mike says it was a misunderstanding. She starts to write Sonny a letter, but Mike tells her not to bother, that Sonny won’t even get it. Bobbie walks in and tells Carly to divorce Sonny.
