General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 26-Jun-2001

At Wyndemere a lurking Stavros overhears Stephan ask Chloe for help. Stephan wants to set up a 5 million-dollar trust fund in Chloe's name, but the money is for Nik. He wants Chloe to find a way to get it(the money) to Nik without Nik knowing it came from Stephan. After some thought Chloe agrees. Just then Alexis arrives, after Chloe leaves she warns him that things may not turn out as he hopes.

Carly barges her way into Angel's home in her usual obnoxious way. Sonny manages to hide without being seen by her; he does however end up in prime spot to eavesdrop on the girl's conversation. At first Carly is her usual bully self and throws around Sonny's name like a threat. Later she ends up pouring her troubles out on Angel's listening ear. After hearing Carly's pitiful woe-is-me tale, Angel calls her insurance agent and tells him to drop the charges. A thankful Carly heads out the door and they meet up with Mike who was apparently waiting in the car this whole time.

Melissa tells Bobbie about finding Carly out side the hospital on the night of the Nurse's Ball. At first Bobbie sarcastically says "and you waited this long to tell me?". But she does end up thanking her for the info.

One of Luke's many sources gives him a tip about a cargo ship filled with Cassadine merchandise. Luke, with the help of Roy, manages to get the manifest away from the harbormaster. The ship's manifest leads them to GH where it's contents where delivered. They take the info to Bobbie. She says the manifest indicates the items where delivered to a WW87 (West Wing Room 87) a storage room. She also identifies the items as high-tech machines more suitable to a research facility than a hospital. She does search the hospital's computer inventory to see if the items are listed, but they are not. While they are waiting for the info to come on line the conversation turns to Bobbie's love life or lack there of. She assures Luke that she and Roy ARE over.

While Deception is holding a photo shoot on the docks, Alexis approachs Laura. She feels sorry for Carly and wants Laura to reconsider the partnership. She tells Laura that Sonny was under the impression that Carly was gone for good when he sold her Carly's half, since that isn't so, could she take Carly back? Laura answers that she knows Sonny well enough to know he was serious when he offered her sole ownership. If HE has changed his mind, then HE should be the one talking to her. Alexis and Scotty have words over is the least worst parent, Carly or AJ? After Alexis leaves, Scott tells Laura that he wants to take her away somewhere fun.

Roy is trying to pick the lock on room 87 in the west wing. Suddenly there is light flashed in his face. It is Melissa she wants to know why he is breaking in. Roy asks her to trust him; it could help save lives.

After the photo shoot is over, Nik waits for Lucky. They are talking when suddenly Nik is hit on the head and crumbles to the ground. It is Helena and her goons.

Apparently tired of waiting in the car, Mike decides to go see what is keeping Carly. Before he can knock, he gaze falls on an item sitting on the porch railing. It is a gold wedding band. The engraving reads "S & C Forever". It is Sonny's, Mike realizes. No sooner does he figure this out than Carly and Angel exit the house. After Carly introduces them, Mike tells her he has figured out where Sonny is.

At the hospital Chloe is rushing for the elevator. As the doors begin to close, she calls "hold the elevator please". A man's arm shoots out and keeps the doors from closing. Chloe enters and smiles up in thanks. The man in the elevator is……………
