General Hospital Update for Friday, 22-Jun-2001

AT ???:
Alexis tries to stop Zander from doing something crazy when she finds out he has a gun. He won't listen, but they interrupted when AJ arrives looking for him. Emily wants to see him, AJ says. After Zander runs out, AJ blasts Alexis for liking and protecting Zander and Sonny. He tells her he hopes Sorrel kills them both, that way his problems will be over. Later AJ calls Ned and informs him of Emily's condition.

OUTSIDE GENERAL HOSPITAL:
Carly sits on a bench and cries as she remembers her life with Sonny. Melissa exits the building, sees Carly and asks if she needs help. Carly tells Melissa that Sonny has left her and is NOT coming back, and finally accepts the blame. Melissa offers her advice. Melissa assures Carly life goes on and it will get better. Carly realizes that Melissa is still in love with Roy and wants to know how/why she forgave him. Melissa explains that it just takes time. Carly thanks Melissa for giving hope that things with Sonny will get better.

Meanwhile,
AT ANGEL'S HOUSE:
Sonny and Angel continue to get to know each other. Sonny sleeps (and dreams) on a lawn chair but awakens when Angel returns from a late night swim. Sonny asks her if she is scared to live alone, so far away from everything and everyone. Angel answers that she knows every sound around her home and she enjoys the peace of being away from others. Plus she can handle any problem that arises. Later as Sonny sits and thinks, Angel falls asleep on his shoulder.

INSIDE GENERAL HOSPITAL:
Stavros eavesdrops on Laura and Nik's conversation. He overhears Laura assure Nik that he is NOTHING like Stavros, to which Nik replies "Thank God Luke killed him and saved me from being brought up to be like him". A breathless Gia returns and reports that while she used the ladies room, Lucky bolted. Nik and Gia leave to go search for him, leaving Laura alone in the dressing room to wait in case Lucky returns.

Luke threatens Helena with breaking her neck if she doesn't tell him what she is up to. They are interrupted by the arrival of Lucky. Helena tells Lucky to tell Luke to leave her alone. Lucky tells her that it is over, she doesn't control him anymore. After Helena leaves Lucky apologizes to Luke for the many times he didn't listen to him, and gives thanks that it is over finally. Luke tells him not to be stupid, it's not over yet, and Helena was just acting to cover something else up. Nik and Gia arrive, Lucky gives them the scoop on his showdown with "PHYSCO GRANNY", and claims it is over. Gia expresses relief and wants to know if this means he and Liz will be moving. Nik is also doubtful that is was so easy. They move on to happier subjects when Lucky asks Nik to be the best man at his wedding.


Stavros is about to reveal himself, but is brought up short by Helena. When Stavros questions why Nik dislikes him so much, Helena blames it all on the Spencer's. Stavros wants to wipe them out immediately (except Laura of course) but Helena tells him he must win back Nik back first. Stavros agrees FIRST Nik, THEN Laura.

Luke searches for Laura and tells her about his encounter with Helena and Lucky. He warns her that Helena was worried about something and it wasn't about the spell on Lucky being broken. He tells her to watch her back.

IN THE GH ER:
Monica tells the family that Emily has a spinal fracture. Emily comments to her parents that she can't feel her legs. They reassure her that she will be OK. Later Monica overhears Skye talking with Emily. Zander arrives in time to hear Alan tell Edward that Emily maybe paralyzed. He rushes to her and with out letting on the seriousness of her injury promises to stay by her side.

Could Emily really be paralyzed?
Will Stavros use the bio-toxin?
What will Nik think when he learns Stavros is alive?
What will Luke do when he learns the same?
Will Sonny come back to Carly? Or will he stay with Angel?
Where IS Hannah?
