At the hospital…

Well, it’s the day of the Nurse’s Ball so we see the typical scenes with Lucy spazzing out, making sure everything is going to run smoothly. Today, she is bothering Alan & Monica. Both assure her all will be fine. Alan mentions that maybe he should’ve included Skye in his father & daughter routine for the Ball, leading Lucy to launch into a crazy monologue about another illegitimate Quartermaine kid and another affair for Alan and she hopes it wasn’t when they were married and this Skye person better not screw up anything. On & on & on….

At the Quartermaine boathouse….

Emily brings foods and disguises to Zander, who is hiding out here. As they joke around trying on disguises and kissing, Edward overhears and then bursts in, threatening to call the cops. Skye shows up and calms Edward down, only to offer Emily & Zander money to run away the second he is gone. Emily is really grateful to Skye for helping her and her true love out and tells her she really is liking this big sister thing; heck, they even hug. She asks Skye to give her parents a note and also begs Skye to replace her in the father-daughter act. Skye appears touched and promises to do all this. Who knows what she’s really thinking, though??!

At Felicia’s house…

Felicia is practicing her Nurse’s Ball routine when Luke calls to try to make up for blowing her off yesterday (when he was busy reminiscing with Laura). She isn’t really interested, though. She is very busy and basically blows him off. Chloe rings the doorbell and wants to see how Felicia is doing. Felicia acknowledges she did the right thing with Mac and is trying to do the right thing with Luke; namely, break it off with him. Just when it seems she has convinced herself, however, Luke rings the doorbell, bearing flowers. Although Luke is eager and seems to want to give Felicia his full attention, she doesn’t believe it. She thinks the reason he waited until the last day to sign his divorce papers is because he doesn’t really want to be divorced. Felicia agrees to consider starting something with Luke, but her immediate priority is getting her and Maxie ready for the Ball.

At the Deception offices….

Carly shows up…to WORK! Laura explains to her that Sonny sold her all the shares to the company. Carly doesn’t believe it, thinks it is some plot she and Scott cooked up. When Scott shows up and backs Laura up, Carly is definitely convinced they are in cahoots. Laura keeps telling Carly to talk to Sonny about it (well, we all know why that isn’t going to happen!). Laura is kind enough to offer Carly a job there, but Carly isn’t too thrilled about that offer. Deception’s success is all due to her, after all.

At Angel’s hideaway…

Sonny is doing better, apparently, as he is out of bed and walking around, checking out Angel’s house. Angel, who apparently only owns white dresses, is surprised to see him doing so well. She explains to him the joys of using fine china everyday and how to de-stem strawberries and then they eat together. We find out Angel was married once, when she was young. When she asks Sonny questions, she surprisingly doesn’t get any answers. Angel leaves to go to the city to run some errands; Sonny makes a phone call…

At Benny’s office…

Mike is giving Benny a hard time, wanting to know where Sonny is. First, Benny talks to Carly’s chauffeur, who is told that she is no longer his charge and that she can take cabs from now on. Then, Benny gets a call from Sonny. Even though Benny doesn’t let on, Mike realizes Sonny is on the other end and grabs the phone, demanding his son speak to him….

At the Deception parking garage…

Carly is receiving the news that she no longer has a driver. Needless to say, she isn’t pleased. She manages to knock the keys out of the driver’s hands and jump into the driver’s seat herself. It’s her husband’s car and if he won’t drive her, then she’ll drive herself. Reminding Carly that she doesn’t even know how to drive, he just leaves. Carly manages to start the ignition on her own, but has some problems with the gas pedal once she shifts it into reverse. She backs right into another car. Yep, guess who? Angel.
