D-Day
Luke & Laura reminisce about their marriage, their adventures, their aliases, their children. They wonder whether this divorce is really what they want to do. They toast to their “penultimate” love. Neither one seems to want to let go of what they had, but neither one wants to be the one to say they aren’t ready to be divorced, either. When Felicia calls in the middle of their remembrances, Laura turns bitter and jealous, leading Luke to turn bitter and jealous about Scott, which basically leads to the signing of the papers. Too bad. At the end, they share a fond farewell, some tears are shed (by me, too, I’ll admit it) and they go their own ways. I’m going to go out on a limb and bet that this won’t be the last of Luke & Laura as a couple, though.
Elsewhere in PC...
Mac & Felicia are saying their own goodbyes. With a kiss. Of course, when Georgie & Maxie see this, they take it the wrong way. Mac & Felicia explain to them that they are saying good-bye. Mac tells the girls he isn’t saying good-bye to them, only their mommy. (Sorry, but this break-up is nowhere near as touching or as interesting as the Spencers.) When Mac leaves, Felicia tries to call Luke (see above) but finds him with Laura and is annoyed. Chloe shows up with a Nurses’ Ball gown and Felicia complains about men in general to her.
Mac goes to the PC Grille, where Scott has been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for Laura. He’s been asked to move to the bar by the waiter who needs the table, but he won’t move. Mac joins him and they share champagne and whine about that darn Luke Spencer.
At Nik's house...
Nik and Elizabeth find themselves sharing a shower. Gia is a little upset. Lucky is a little upset, too, at first, but recognizes this is as a simple mistake. Gia screams at Nik, “She saw you NAKED!!” to which Elizabeth interjects, “Oh come on, it’s not like I saw much.” What every guy wants to hear. The couples make up, but Gia wants Elizabeth to pay. She tells her she is going to find Lucky, take off her dress and then they’ll be even. Elizabeth doesn’t really like that idea, though. Gia settles for turning the water to cold when Elizabeth is out of the bathroom, leaving her to jump into a cold shower. Gia warns Nik that any hoochie-mama who comes after him will pay; Nik is touched even though the princely one doesn’t really know what a hoochie-mama is.
