General Hospital Update for Thursday, 14-Jun-2001

AT THE COTTAGE:
After Lucky and Liz arrive they tell Nick & Gia they have come up with a way to keep Lucky safe from Helena, but they need help to accomplish it. They want to move in with them, immediately. Gia protests that the cottage is too small for all FOUR of them, but is put on the spot when Nik agrees to help, as long as Gia agrees also. Later Gia confesses to Nik that she is afraid Helena may order Lucky to hurt her, since Helena doesn't like her. Liz overhears and blasts Gia for being selfish. Lucky overhears Liz yelling and tells Gia that he is also afraid, But he completely trusts and feels safe around Liz, Nik and even Gia. They join hands and make a four musketeers vow "All for one and one for all".

AT THE Q HOUSE:
Monica and Alan continue to make plans for Em's graduation party. On the terrace Skye offers money to help Emily and Zander runaway in style. Emily doubts her motives, but Zander out right refuses. He will NOT get Emily in trouble by taking her away again. Back inside, Lila has a copy of Emily's speech. They are all touched by Em's references to the love she feels for her family. When Emily enters they all gather around her and tell her how proud they are of her and how much they love her. An envious Skye watches and daydreams it is her they are gathering around. Emily's objection to the party are overridden by the family when they tell her Zander would not want her to miss out on it.

AT THE CORINTHOS' PENTHOUSE:
A hopeful Carly answers the door. It is AJ who has come to enforce his court ordered visitation. Carly warns AJ to leave before Sonny returns. It is obvious that AJ knows Sonny is gone when he tells her he WILL wait for Sonny. A flustered Carly lets AJ know that Michael is not even in the country. An angry AJ tells Carly he will make her pay for abandoning Michael. Before he can make any more threats, Mike arrives and urges him to leave. Carly tells Mike Sonny is gone and asks for advice on how to get him back. Mike's advice is to give Sonny time to come around on his own. They are interrupted when Zander knocks. He wants Sonny's help protecting Emily. In typical Carly fashion she yells at him that HE is to blame for everything wrong in her life at the moment. She assures him that Sonny will NOT help him again and tells him to leave. After Zander leaves Mike tells Carly that Sonny would help Zander and she doesn't really know Sonny if she thinks otherwise. When Carly says she is no good at waiting, Mike tells her to learn how and learn how fast.

AT THE Q HOUSE:
AJ returns and finds Skye on the terrace. It is obvious he is upset, so Skye asks him what is wrong. AJ tells her that about Michael. Skye tells him to use the situation to his advantage. The courts always do what is in the best interest of the child. So the longer Sonny stays gone, the better chance AJ will have to prove Sonny and Carly are providing an unstable home life for Michael. Plus the courts will look badly on a mother who left her child alone in another country.

AT ANGELS' HOUSE:
Sonny refuses Angels' offer to call a doctor. Later, still feverish, he dreams about Carly.
HE and Carly are at Lily's grave. Carly is trying to give him the guardian angel. It will keep him safe she says. When Sonny pulls his hand out from under his jacket, it is covered with blood. Carly asks, "What happened?" Sonny answers "Someone stabbed me in the back." Carly asks "Who?" to which Sonny answers "It was you. YOU betrayed me!" Carly falls at his feet crying and begging for forgiveness.
When he awakens Angel asks who betrayed him. Sonny denies any knowledge. "It was just a dream." He tells Angel to throw the guardian angel away. Angel answers that she can't. It's her namesake, plus it would disrespectful to her mother who believed in guardian angels. They both acknowledge that Sonny's injury could easily have been fatal and wonder what saved him.

AT JAKE'S:
When Zander returns to his room, it obvious that someone else has been there. There is a note on the desk with his name. It is made with cut out letters from magazines and newspapers. It simply says, "NEXT TIME YOU AND THE GIRL ARE DEAD"!
