General Hospital Update for Friday, 8-Jun-2001

Stavros is coming back to life! His chamber was opened at the end of Friday's show. A dubious Tony warned Helena that it might not be time yet, but she insisted her son would make it.

Earlier in the show, Luke questioned Tony about his involvement with Helena, and Tony lied, saying he had no idea what Luke was talking about.

Liz found Lucky at the boxcar, staring at the wall full of her pictures. She managed to convince him that he's still under Helena's control. At first, Lucky was totally spaced out and couldn't remember much, but eventually he came to and realized the engagement ring was from Helena.

Liz called Laura, who was with Luke at the Club, and told her Lucky was safe. Later the young couple went to see Lucky's parents. They had a touching reunion, where Lucky admitted he was still under Helena's spell and asked his parents for help in escaping Helena's control. They all vowed to work together to get him out of Helena's clutches.

Melissa woke up in Roy's bed with a terrible hangover and no memories of the previous night. Roy teased her for a while, but then admitted that nothing romantic happened between them. She asked to take a shower at his place, and of course Bobbie walked in just as Melissa had finished the shower.

Alexis found Carly in Sonny's apartment and gave her a few choice words about betraying Sonny. Carly insisted she did it for love and safety. Their argument was interrupted by the police, who were there to question Carly, telling her she could make things easier for Sonny if she told them what she knew. She refused to help.

Before barging in on Melissa, Bobbie saw Felicia and told her that she and Mac could call off the search for Carly, since Carly is now home. Felicia tried to get Bobbie to see that Roy was just helping Carly, not hiding things from Bobbie.

A dazed Sonny woke up in a hospital setting and met "Angel," who explained to him that she knew who he is and that he had been stabbed. She said she's going to take care of him, but that doesn't seem to include notifying his family and friends of his location.
