General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 5-Jun-2001

AT THE Q HOUSE:
Emily is writing in her journal when Zander suddenly startles her. He wants to see what she has written, she hesitates, then lets him. Zander tells her about his job working in the office of the coffee warehouse. Emily is worried that Zander will get more involved in Sonny's OTHER business and end up like Jason. Zander assures her he will not.

AT SONNY'S PENTHOUSE:
Carly throws her arms around Sonny and says she can tell he has not managed to forget her. When Sonny pushes her away, she says she knows he WANTS to forgive her. Sonny answers that he DOES WANT to but DOESN'T know how to forgive. That is why every time he looks at Mike all he sees is that Mike left them. Now every time he looks at Carly all he will see is a LIAR! He tells her that he would rather die than become a snitch. Carly is determined to get him back even if she has to prove her love by dying. Carly tries again to tell Sonny that they can get past her betrayal. Sonny tells her nothing has changed in his life, so what makes her think there is a difference now? Carly answers "What if I where having your baby?" When Sonny asks, she admits she is NOT PG, but could be if they went upstairs and got busy. Sonny tells her again that it would not work because he can never trust her again, and eventually that would kill their "love" and make things worse for everyone, especially Michael. He tells her to let it go, that there is nothing between them anymore. Carly tries to coax Sonny upstairs (to bed) so they can (literally) kiss and make up. (In case you where wondering she was in Martinique. She has left Michael and Leticia there while she tries to make up with Sonny).

AT THE SPENCER HOUSE:
Bobbie arrives to visit Laura and inquire about the fire. She finds Scott waiting on the porch. They talk about recapturing past loves. "What if Laura chooses Luke again?" they ponder. Bobbie advises Scott to go after Laura if he wants her, because Luke sure will. She does tell Scott that she and Roy are over.

IN LIZ'S ROOM AT KELLY'S:
Liz, Nik and Gia arrive and hope that they will find a message from Lucky. When they do not find one, Liz images the worse. Maybe Sorrel kidnapped Lucky and is holding him hostage. Nik doesn't buy that, only Helena would be cruel enough to use a fire again to take Lucky a second time. He has a plan to find Lucky and get him back from Helena. Despite Gia's objections, Nik leaves to set his plan in motion (with out giving details) and leaves the girls to await a phone call from either himself or Lucky. After he is gone Gia admits to Liz that she knows about Lucky's programming. She then confesses to Liz that it spooks her to know Nik's family is capable of such things. Liz berates her self for not seeing that something was wrong with Lucky. They ponder what plans Helena has for Lucky. Liz tells Gia that although there is something fundamentally wrong with both Stephan and Helena, Nik is NOT like them. They finally remember that they are women of the nineties and don't have to wait around for the men to show up. They come up with a plan of their own to help Nik and save Lucky.

ON HELENA'S YACHT:
Laura questions Felicia reasons for being there. Felicia explains; she saw Luke on docks and followed him to try stop him from killing Helena. She is glad Laura is there, maybe SHE can talk some sense into Luke. She gets a big surprise when Laura not only agrees with Luke, but also tells him to count on her to help anyway she can. Luke suddenly realizes that there were no guards, no servants and the doors where unlocked. Helena is NOT there, so Lucky isn't either. He thanks them both, but tells them to leave, then leaves himself. Laura is about to follow when Felicia stops her by accusing her of trying to hold on to Luke. She tells Laura that she in love with Luke. Laura accuses Felicia of using Lucky's problems to try to be close to Luke. When she does ask what Luke feels about Felicia, Felicia confesses that Luke said he is unsure he will ever love again. She says that Laura hurt him too much. At this point Laura says she does have time for this and does leave to go after Luke. Scott arrives looking for Laura, but finds only Felicia. He asks if she knows where Laura is. Ever the gracious hostess, she offers him some brandy, then leaves him with this parting thought. "Where ever they are; Laura is with Luke, and Luke is with Laura".

AT THE BLUES CLUB (Luke's office):
Luke is having a drink himself, contemplating his next move when Nik knocks on the door. Luke tells him to go away. Nik shouts through the door that he has a plan to get Lucky back, intrigued Luke opens the door and hears him out. "Kidnap me and exchange me for Lucky" says Nik. At first Luke is suspicious and wonders who sent him Stephan or Helena? Nik explains that it worked once before, when Luke threatened his life, it made Helena back off. It would work again, only this time Nik would be a willing victim. Laura arrives and overhears Nik's plan. She thanks him but refuses. Luke thinks it would work, but Laura says the risk is too great. First of all she is not going to trade one son for another. Plus when Helena found out that Nik aligned himself with the Spencer family against her, she would declare open season on Nik. Nik leaves but asks to be kept informed. Luke thanks him for his offer of help (could this be a start to the end of his hatred for Nik or was it only cause Laura was there?). Laura tells Luke she would have been there sooner but Felicia stopped her to talk about him. Luke pretty much stonewalls her on that subject and the discussion returns to saving Lucky. First they have to find Helena, they say.

HELENA'S SECRET LAB:
Lucky flat out refuse to do anymore of her bidding. He shouts at Helena that he loves Luke and will not do anything against him, then he tries to run from her. He is stopped by one of the guards. Once he is subdued, Helena uses the Ice Princess to hypnotize him again. Under the "trance" she manages to convince Lucky that they aren't hurting Luke, just helping him to be at "peace". Lucky agrees to do as Helena bids.

ON THE NEXT GH:
Melissa is in trouble.
Liz and Gia break into Wyndemere.
Luke assures Laura they will find Lucky.
Carly tries to seduces Sonny into forgiveness.
