General Hospital Update for Friday, 25-May-2001

AT THE Q HOUSE:
Edward assures Ned and AJ that Sonny is on his way out of ELQ. As Ned & AJ quiz Ed about what he is up to now, Skye presents herself (all dress up) and asks if she is presentable. Edward tells her she looks great, and should be on her way, as Sonny is at the Grill already. Ned blasts Edward for sending yet another family member in to the "hands of Sonny". AJ hopes that maybe they will get really lucky and be able to rid themselves of both Sonny and Skye.

ON THE STREETS OF PC:
Emily and Zander ride the limo through town on their way to the Prom. He gives her a corsage and she thanks him for going to the prom with her. Upon their arrival, they are greeted by several of Emily's friends. The boys take Zander aside and try to score some drugs. They are scornful when he tells them he doesn't sell drugs anymore. The girls ooh and ah over a real "MOB CAR". When Emily asks what they are talking about, they point to the limo and comment that it must be Sonny's cause everyone knows Zander works for him. Disappointed by all the finger pointing and gossip, Emily and Zander leave. They recall having previously talked about how wonderful it would be to go dancing. Zander suddenly has the driver stop the car, they get out, crank up the stereo and dance under a street light. (It was kind of romantic in a sweet sort of way).

AT HELENA'S SECRET LAB:
Helena tells (the still frozen) Stavros, that she is using HIS ring to control Lucky. She mentions that Lucky has probably already given the ring to Liz. She assures him that they will get it back, because once he joins her they will make sure there are NO Spencers left alive to claim it. When Tony enters, Helena tells him that she wants to speed up the process. Tony warns her that since it is an experimental procedure, there is no telling what effect the changes will have. She does not care and pushes him to start the next stage. As Helena stands over the case, she (and we) see Stavros' hands move.

AT THE PC GRILL:
Upon seeing Luke and Laura, Mac asks Felicia if she would rather go elsewhere for dinner. Felicia replies that the Grill is Ok with her unless Mac is uncomfortable and would rather leave. They proceed to have dinner, but during the course of the evening Felicia is distracted as Luke walks past their table on his way to the bar. She mentions to Mac that she can tell Luke is up to something by the look on his face. Mac tells her that he can tell by the look on HER face that she wants….
Chocolate Ice Cream for dessert.

Bobbie accuses Scott of knowing Laura would be there. Scott does not deny it. Roy approaches and asks Bobbie if they can speak, but she ignores him. She and Scott take a table near the entrance.

Everyone is surprised to see Sonny enter the restaurant with a group of people, which consists of Johnny, another man and two blonde women (best described as bimbettes).

When Luke goes to the bar, Scott approaches Laura and asks if she is angry with him. Laughing she tells him she should be, but is not. But she also does not want to encourage him to keep acting this way. Back at their talk, he & Bobbie talk about Carly, life, etc. She excuses herself and approaches Sonny's table. She demands to know where Carly is. When Sonny answers with "She took my money and left, that's all I know" Bobbie throws her drink in his face. She tells him that is for being so cold hearted. Sonny gives her no reaction, other than to wipe his face. Bobbie leaves and Roy approaches. He and Sonny stare at each other until one of the bimbettes returns to claim the seat she had given up to Bobbie.

Liz, Lucky, Nik and Gia arrive and are greeted by Laura. Stephan closely follows them. Luke approaches him and tells Stephan that if he causes trouble, he will REALLY be sorry he saved Luke's life. Stephan tells Luke he has every right to be there, it is a public place after all. He does however move to the bar area. There he uses his phone to call someone. "He's here now, I want this taken care of tonight" is all we hear him say.

Chloe arrives but moves to the bar area when she notices Alexis has not arrived yet. There she sees and speaks to Stephan. When he tells her he did not expect to see Nik there with his "new" family, Chloe suggests he leave. She returns to the dining area, where Alexis is already seated. Alexis assures her that Stephan will not bother her will they are together. Chloe express the opinion that Stephan would be all right "if he could just let the whole Helena thing go". Alexis expresses her opinion that it would not change him. "A snake sheds it's skin once a year, but underneath it's still a snake!" she says. Ned who is there to "keep an eye on Skye" joins them.

Skye shows up and wrangles and invitation to sit at Sonny's table (displacing one of the bimbettes). They flirt, and Sonny's asks if he can give her a tour of PC, starting with the terrace. Once outside they make idle talk about the docks, etc. Skye points out what appears to be a couple dancing under a street light. Suddenly she confesses to Sonny that all the Q's hate her. She tells him that Edward asked her to get Sonny's ELQ stock away from him. Sonny tells her he figured that much. She then tells him she wants his help to destroy ALL the Qs.

Audrey's arrival signals the start of the celebration. Lucky makes a lovely speech about starting over and putting the past behind then, etc. Liz shows off her ring. While everyone else admires it, Laura avoids looking, as she grits her teeth and smiles. Later in the ladies room, Gia uses a pair of scissors to make alterations to Emily's ghastly dress (and does manage to end up with something decent looking). After Liz asks Gia to hold her ring while she washes her hands, Gia asks the same of Laura, when Laura enters the ladies room. Alone with the ring, Laura drops it on the table as if it will burn her hand. Later on the terrace, Luke and Laura discuss the ring and its meaning. Luke mentions that Lucky found him with the disks again and smashed his laptop. He also tells her that one of her words helped break the code. When he tells her the Greek word, which showed on the screen, Laura tells him that it means, "awaken". She guesses that it has to do with Helena's programming of Lucky. This causes her to start crying, which prompts Luke to reassure her that they are not going to lose Lucky. Lucky overhears and steps out on to the terrace accusing Luke of upsetting Laura. They cover by saying she was only crying because she realized that he is all grown up and she is losing her little boy. As Liz gives the departing Audrey a hug, the flash of her ring puts Lucky in a "trance". Nik calls to him several times, but Lucky just stares off into space. Luke and Laura notice this. They also notice that one word from Liz snaps him out of the trance. As the discussion turns to what type of chocolate dessert they should order, Luke persuades Lucky to join him outside for a little talk and what he discribes as the start of a "possible new family tradition". They are on the way out when Taggart arrives and stops them. He places Lucky under ARREST! When Lucky asks what the charge is, Stephan steps forward and says "For assault against me!"

Will Stavros make it back from the dead?
Will Bobbie forgive Roy?
Or will she do something she will regret?
Will Sonny help Skye?
Will Lucky go to jail?
Where IS Carly?
