General Hospital Update for Monday, 21-May-2001

I expected to see Tony get Stavros out of the cryonics chamber today, but it didn't occur. Some loose ends were tied today. Monica ousted Raye from her home, but promised Allan that she would try to make amends with Skye. Monica says:"I'm rich, I don't have to be kind". Getting rid of Allan's former LOVE is satisfying her for now.Skye continues to try to weasel her way into her grandfather's life. Yet,when Edward taunts AJ, She does take up for him.When he can't find Michael,Skye seems to empathize with him. He and his attorney Scott have found a way for him to see little Michael.Yet, Michael and Carly are not to be found.
Sonny tells Bobbie what happened when Carly informed the FBI about him. He said that Roy had helped her with this betrayal so she should ask Roy for the details. Bobbie pleads with Sonny to try to understand Carly's love for him and why she did this. Of course, Carly and Michael have been missing for days. When Bobbie asks Where is she, A Cold-hearted , despondent Sonny says:" For all I 'm concerned, she's dead." His love for Carly has turned to HATRED. An unforgiving Sonny must have forgotten his "FOR BETTER OR WORSE VOWS". No body betrays Sonny.. especially Carly.
An elated Liz shows Nicholas her lovely, exquisite, diamond ring from Lucky. Nicholas knows where this priceless gem came. He asks Liz if she truly thinks that Lucky is all right. Liz says :"He's just fine".The sparkling diamond must be affecting her judgment or she is too naive to see what is happening.:-) Gia feels left out of Nicholas's plans. He tries to reassure her of his love, but he can't involve her.For the first time, this viewer actually heard Gia tell Nicholas that she loves him. Does she deserve his love? We'll see!
Melissa overhears Roy explaining to Mike, the FBI man, why he will not reveal the informant's name to him. Now, She knows that Roy was an undercover agent to the FBI so that Hannah would not be sent to a foster home. Her mother had deserted her. The FBI set her up in a comfy home, etc. While Melissa is pawing him, Bobbie walks in. An angry Bobbie says:"After pulling yourself apart from that little tramp, Were You going to tell me how you trashed my daughter's life?
The scene that really got to me was when Lucky lost it and beat Luke's computer to a pulp. As much as Luke loves his son, he is furious with Lucky.Luke asks: "What is wrong with You, Lucky?" He tells his dad that NIl is wrong and that he is "THE CRAZY ONE". When a gleeful Liz appears to show Luke the diamond, Luke feigns his approval. He knows, as Nicholas does ,where this diamond came. He said: "This reminds me of a little princess I once knew".After keeping mum about everything, Liz and a sheepish Lucky leave. Luke throws his damaged computer into the trash can and says to himself;" Helena's got him and got him tight".I Wonder what Luke will do to save his son from Helena's SPELL.
