At Sonny's Penthouse.....

In bed, Sonny tells Carly he knows she is his betrayer. He even knows when she made the call to Roy and questions how else she would have known he had been arrested. Carly denies it, but Sonny tells her they are finished and to pack her things. Carly pleads her case and says she loves him and she's innocent, but Sonny isn't hearing it and leaves her upstairs to pack. Sonny says good-bye to Michael, telling him he's a good kid and apologizing for breaking his promise. Carly can't believe it. She decides to fess up and admits she did set him up, but did it to save him, just like he tried to save her before their wedding by pushing her away. Sonny ignores her. She comes down in her wedding dress to remind him of the promises they made, (for better or worse, in sickness & in health--this being a worse situation and Carly being of poor mental health). He finally comes to her and kisses her, but it is only a good-bye kiss as he then asks Johnny to escort Carly out of the penthouse, in her wedding dress & all.

At the Hospital....

On the roof, Nikolas finds Lucky standing on the edge, about to jump off. Nikolas tries talking Lucky down, but he doesn't seem to hear. Elizabeth somehow finds the boys on the roof, too, and manages to talk Lucky down. Lucky doesn't understand why Nikolas is acting crazy, he wasn't going to jump, he explains. He just wanted to see the view. Nikolas is worried. Elizabeth asks Nikolas to leave them alone, so he does. Lucky again insists he wasn't going to jump; Elizabeth guesses he's overwhelmed about the engagement. She tells him she doesn't even need a diamond. Lucky starts to wax philosophical, talking about how he wants a world with no pain, no suffering, no enemies.... Elizabeth thinks he's acting weird.

Inside, Bobbie keeps vigil over Lucas. Roy & Luke look on and comment that Helena must be behind this strange illness. Roy says it makes sense, but they need proof. They decide to go check on Tony in the lab. Roy makes it first and only Melissa is there. Meanwhile, Nikolas runs into Luke and expresses his concern about Lucky's strange behavior. Luke doesn't want to hear anything that comes out of a Cassidine's mouth and gives him some Spencer attitude. Nikolas shouts that he'll try to save Lucky himself. An eavesdropping Lucky comes out from his hiding spot and demands to know, "What makes you think I need saving?" He's angry about Nikolas' insinuations. Meanwhile, Luke makes it down to the lab as Melissa discovers something amiss. She finds come foreign strain in Lucas' lab work. That's all Luke needs to know; he heads over to Helena's yacht and trashes it, looking in vain for some sort of clue.

Thirty flights below the hospital's sub-basement, Helena and her goons are holding Tony. She keeps telling him of the wonderful things he will soon see, a "world of miracles," a "crossing of the line between life and death." Tony doesn't understand what she wants. Quid pro quo, Helena explains, you save my son and I'll save yours. Tony finally realizes that Helena is behind Lucas' illness and is furious. At one point, he tells her, "Go to Hell! You own it, right?" Plus, Tony is confused as to why Helena wants Stefan saved, he thought they hated each other. Helena tells him Stefan is worthless, she is talking about saving Stavros. She tells Tony he can help make Stavros live again. He thinks she's insane, but then she takes him into this freezing laboratory and puts him in front of an icebox. What could it all mean? What is in there?
