General Hospital Update for Friday, 11-May-2001

LIZ visits Audrey at the hospital and tells her of Lucky's proposal. Audrey tells Liz they should not rush into marriage; they are both very young. Meanwhile, Nick and Lucky visit a jewelry store to pick out an engagement ring. The sight of so many diamonds sets off a strange reaction in Lucky, who runs from the store saying he must visit Lucas.

HELENA sends a couple of thugs to do her bidding (What that is exactly is not revealed to the viewers).

LUCAS continues to get worse. They are unable to pinpoint the source of the high fever and he is in danger of slipping into a coma. Bobbie is hysterical. Roy and Luke are there for her. Roy calls Felicia with the news. She and Mac are on a date, but rush to the hospital to be with Bobbie. Roy mentions to Luke that Helena was asking about Lucas' condition. Immediately, Luke tells Tony to check Lucas for poison. Then Luke goes in search of the DRAGON LADY. When he does find her he grabs her in a chokehold. If she doesn't tell him what she did to Lucas, he will either paralyze her or kill her, her choice, he tells her. Helena is scared; it is obvious Luke means business. Just as she is about to answer, Luke is pulled away from her…

Needless to say, Luke is not happy with Mac. He does however get a chance to confide in Felicia that he believes Helena is responsible for Lucas' condition. Felicia expresses doubt.

LUCKY arrives in time to overhear Audrey tell Liz that Lucas is not better. He observes Tony and Bobbie with an unresponsive Lucas. Later he goes to the hospital roof.

LIZ stops by Lucas' room to join Lucky, but only Nick is there. They wonder how Lucky knew Lucas was worse if no one called him, and where Lucky could be. They go in search of Lucky. Nick finally finds Lucky, on the roof…
Standing on the ledge…
Ready to JUMP!

HELENA'S thugs accost Tony, at gunpoint, in the hospital corridor and force him to go with them… to Helena's secret (underground?) location. Helena awaits him. Tony demands answers.

SONNY and Carly arrive home. When Carly goes upstairs, Sonny searches her purse and removes her cell-phone. Using the re-dial button, he dials the last number she called… ROY'S. Mike arrives, he just heard and offers to help if he can. Sonny questions him about his feelings and thoughts when Mike left him and his mother. "How do you betray someone you are supposed to love?" Sonny asks. Mike answers that just because you betray someone doesn't mean you don't love him or her, sometimes it's because you DO love them. After Mike leaves, Sonny joins Carly upstairs, although they make love, he won't allow her to caress him. Afterwards, sure she has won, Carly babbles about how maybe the arrest was a blessing in disguise. Now they can go whereever, be whoever, etc, etc, etc. She finishes with "Maybe who ever turned you in did us a favor in a backward sort of way, so it really doesn't matter who it was." Sonny looks at her and says (as a tear rolls down his face),
"I KNOW WHO IT WAS…
IT WAS YOU".
