General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 9-May-2001

SCOTT visits Laura and invites her out. They go to the arcade and have silly fun. He does tell her that he wants to move on to the next step - make love. She wants more time. She has made mistakes in the past she wants to be absolutely sure.

FELICIA wants Luke to tell her not to go out with Mac. He won't. They discuss what she wants from a relationship. She wants a partnership. Luke tells Felicia he is not sure he will ever love again, he can not guaranty that they have a future together. Felicia thinks that maybe she could still have that with Mac. Luke tells her to do what will make her happy. They share a kiss before he leaves.

LUCKY expresses his feelings to Liz, unaware that Helena observes. Liz tells Lucky she wants time to think about his proposal, why the rush? No rush says Lucky, they had always planned to be together, and he has always wanted to marry her. Liz finally says YES!

HELENA receives some good news. HER people have decoded the disks.

NICK and Gia discuss Lucky's proposal to Liz and his strange behavior prior to that. Nick warns her that if Helena is still after Lucky things will get scary. She will stand by him no matter what his family throws their way she says. Nick's declaration of love, spooks her. She has always avoided getting involved, because she is afraid of getting hurt.

CARLY almost lets slip to a guard that Sonny is claustrophobic. Sonny warns her to tell no one, if the FBI find out they will use it against him. Sonny wears he will find out who betrayed him. A nervous Carly tries to convince him to turn a deal, by saying others would get less time than him, or would not protect him if the situation was reversed. Sonny will not turn on the people who DO trust him, he says. Taggart visits and urges Sonny to take deal. Sonny starts to realize that very few people had access to his whereabouts. He then comments only she was with him when the call about the bomber came. A very nervous Carly babbles and starts to point fingers at every possible suspect, Roy, Taggart, one of his men? As visiting hours end, Carly promises to return, she loves him, she would do ANYTHING for him, ANYTHING to keep him safe, she says. After she leaves, an upset Sonny throws furniture around...
