General Hospital Update for Friday, 4-May-2001

EMILY daydreams about finding Zander and making up with him. Meanwhile Zander has returned to his old haunts and managed to get himself involved in a deal with some old buddies. Emily does finally show up at the diner where Zander and his buddies hang out, but she does not see him as Zander is in the rest room. Later Zander burns up pictures of himself and Emily.

MONICA'S birthday dinner is a tense affair due to rude questions from Skye and nasty comments from Monica. In the middle of all this Melissa arrives to tell Alan she is taking back her resignation. Monica makes two birthday wishes. 1- That Skye submit to a DNA test. 2- That Skye and Rae leave her house. Alan asks to speak with her privately. He then asks for her understanding, not surprisingly, she doesn't give it.

EDWARD cozies up to Skye by answering her questions and promising her money, stocks and a position at ELQ. AJ and Ned warn her not trust Edward, he is only saying those things to get back at them for exposing his scam about the mugging. Alan overhears and when he gets Edward alone warns him that he will not allow Edward to hurt Skye with his manipulations, like he has with AJ and Emily.

TONY and Bobbie discuss Lucas' condition. They have not found out what is wrong yet. Tony wants to run more tests. Bobbie doesn't. She thinks he just doesn't want to tell her that something is really wrong with their child. Tony assures that is not the case. Later as he is taking Lucas for said tests, Melissa arrives and tells Bobbie the last thing Bobbie wants to hear. She(Melissa) is staying at GH permanently.

ROY tells Agent Ford that he can and will deliver Sonny, but only if they agree to offer Sonny a deal in exchange for immunity and entry to the witness protection program. When Ford balks, Roy calls in a favor. Roy helped him when Larkin sabotaged Ford's career, now it's time to pay up.

CARLY tells Sonny they can get through anything because they love each other. She then listens outside the door when Sonny receives a call. He agrees to be at a warehouse in ½ hour, his people have the person who sent the bomb on his birthday. As soon as Sonny leaves, Carly calls Roy. Later, Carly and Roy meet in the hospital stairway, and she asks him to promise everything will be all right. He reminds that there is no guaranty.

AS SONNY confronts the bomber (gagged and tied to a chair). The door bursts open. It is Agent Ford and several other men. They identify themselves as FBI agents and tell Sonny he is under arrest.
