General Hospital Update for Thursday, 26-Apr-2001

UNIDENTIFED woman introduces her self as Skye Chandler. Both she and Rae are unsuccessful in their attempts to speak to Alan. Skye manages to keep Rae from seeing her. Later she learns Alan's home address from a piece of mail in his office. Unable to speak with Alan at the hospital, Rae shows up at the Q mansion shortly before the ceremony. Monica tries to close the door on her.

ALEXIS brings Zander to GH for treatment on his burned hand. At first Alan refuses assistance, but then calls for Tony Jones when ALEXIS threatens with the big L (Lawsuit). (If I may add no wonder this hospital is always in need of money, they use a neurosurgeon for everything. In the last few months Tony has attended Lucky -for sprained arm; Edward -for nothing; Roy -for a gunshot wound; now Zander -for a burn). Later, at Kelly's Zander tells Alexis he wants to leave PC.

EMILY manages to avoid answering AJ questions. Later Edward congratulates her on dealing with AJ.

BOBBIE tries to bluff her way through Roy's questions. Melissa covers for her by saying that Bobbie tried to cover Melissa's mistake. Later Luke manages to get Bobbie to admit she did set Melissa up. Bobbie admits she is jealous. Luke gives her advice - Roy is not like rest of the men she has married - She can TRUST him.

AJ tells Ned that he is sure Edward faked attack. After giving Ned details, AJ asks for his help "Get the medical records before they disappear. Ned goes to hospital and asks Alan to look at records. While waiting he meets Skye, he tries to flirt with her when he notices Alexis at the nurse's station. Alan tells Ned that AJ was right, Edward's tests show no sign of anything wrong. Ned asks Zander "Did you attack Edward". When Zander denies it, Ned heads for the Q mansion.

MELISSA admits to Roy the real reason she is in PC; to get him back. Roy tells her he already knew. He CARES about her, but he LOVES Bobbie. When she asks, Roy tells her that he would have returned to PC and Bobbie even if things had turned out better for them. Melissa tells Roy she is quitting GH, she is going to travel like they used to talk about. Roy tries to change her mind.

BOBBIE arrives in Roy's room with good news - he has been released! Then Roy gives Bobbie good news - Melissa is leaving town.

MELISSA tells Alan she is going to resign.
