General Hospital Update for Friday, 13-Apr-2001

okay this is my first time writing one of these so I hope this goes well. I will try not to editorialize too much.

Bobbie/Melissa/Roy:
Not my favorite trio but mildly interesting today. Bobbie and Melissa are both called in to cover the very busy ER (because surgical nurses always work the ER) and of course Bobbie is pretending that she doesn't mind working with her, but really she feels pushed out by her. Luke talks Roy into working at the club that night, so he heads over to the hospital to break his date with Bobbie. Of course he runs into Melissa first and ends up chatting with her about car repair when Bobbie comes up and sees them chatting and gets all jealous. When she sees Roy and Melissa chatting again she wrongly assumes that he broke their date to hang out with Melissa. Meanwhile some weird guy is hanging around the ER looking for a doctor and Bobbie has blown him off twice. When Bobbie goes to talk to Roy about the date the weirdo grabs Melissa and holds a gun to her.

Emily/Zander: They are off to their favorite barn to celebrate his freedom. (Emily is wearing some good awful outfit that you just know she has got to be loathing). They go on and on for just about the whole episode talking about how her family doesn't like him and how Edward doesn't want them to be together. Then they rehash the whole you saved my life spiel. When Em tries to bring up his family he freaks and says he'll never talk about them.

Edward is attacked and left in an alley (because all rich old people walk through alleys). Taggert finds him and then harasses the people at the hospital that he needs to ask Edward who did this to him. Edward can't remember. AJ vows to find out who the culprit is. Flash to Zander who has bruised knuckles.

Cassidines/Spencers
Luke pays off the club debt with Helena's money. Stefan finds out about the money and summons Helena and threatens her with an embezzelment charge. Lucky and Nicholas talk about family and the family war. Nick goes to see his uncle but hides in a closet when he hears Helena and Stefan talking about getting rid of Gia and his unworthy associates. He bursts out to tell them both to piss off. Luke asks Lucky for some help.
