General Hospital Update for Thursday, 29-Mar-2001

All in all, a fairly uneventful day. Bobbie (will they please quit dressing her like a hooker) saw Roy and Melissa in Lukes. Bobbie was shocked to see Roy playing the piano and Melissa mooning over him. Bobbie and Melissa had a very forced talk about how Mel and Roy met. Roy, saved by the Alexis searched for Zander. By the end of the episode, after a few words with Sonny in the parking garage, Roy pretty much figured out that Sonny had Zander stashed somewhere. I have to say that I’m not liking Sonny very much in this whole deal. He’s being a real jerk to Zander, who is just a scared kid. He is terrorizing him much the same way Deac did to him and it’s making me want Sonny to lose here.

Helena’s henchmen blew it trying to get the disks back from Luke which sent Helena into a real tizzy. Helena once again went to visit the secret person at the end of the freight elevator (my vote is Faison)

Lucky warned Luke that he, Liz, Nik and Gia were going to party at his club and that if Luke didn’t behave they would leave. Grudgingly, Luke agreed to let them stay and to be polite to Nikolas. He maintained except for asking Nik to carry a message to his grandmother. “Tell her she will never get what she wants from me, NEVER.”

Gia got all pouty and nervous (find a new expression, the pout is wearing thin)when she found out that Liz would be joining Nik and Lucky. Liz taunted Gia with a warning that she would tell Nik that Gia had tried to blackmail her. When Nik overheard part of the warning and asked what was up, Gia lied her butt off and Liz didn’t tell. The old Liz would have, I wish this one would. It would be far more interesting.

There was more back and forth between Jason and Zander, Jason and Sonny, Sonny and Zander, blah, blah, blah, “I want out” Zander, “You’re not going anywhere” Sonny, Jason, Sonny Jason. Ending in Zander’s complete frustration with Jason’s willingness to let Emily sweat where Zander is. Finally Zander blurted out the Monica may have cancer.
