General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 27-Mar-2001

Yet another Ned/Alexis realization that it's hopeless. I like this couple, but am tired of the back and forth. Kill it or get them back together. We are losing interest.

Carly walks in on Sonny and Alexis discussing the Zander "kidnapping" (for those of you who missed it, Jason has him on Sonny's orders). Carly blows a gasket and picks a fight with Sonny which culminates in her asking when she and Michael would get into a car have it blow up. Sonny bellows "Shut up." Carly realizes that she has gone too far. Sonny storms out and is sitting on a park bench. Sonny freaks out when he sees a father speaking sharply to his son and flashes back to Deac hurting him and his mom. I guess we are really supposed to believe that Carly would feel threatened for one second by Alexis. I'm hoping they don't contrive some big split up with her and Sonny so that Sarah Brown can leave gracefully, I would rather they just recast it and get on with the story. I love Sarah as much as the next gal, but seriousely the whole canvas can't change just because she didn't renew her contract.

A.J. has a brief encounter with a Hannah lookalike in Luke's but ultimately blows her off. I would love to see A.J. get a real life finally, if not with Hannah(I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't hate the A.J./ Hannah paring, I think it could have worked), then with someone. He's suffered enough.

Bobbie/Roy/Melissa - same stuff different day. Bobbie walks into Luke's unexpectedly and finds Melissa fawning over Roy and Roy letting her do it. It's a nice break from Roy and Bobbie swapping spit, but the storyline isn't really working for me.

Alan does some amateur sleuthing to discover Monica's impending biopsy and passes the news along to Edward and A.J. There is a really sweet scene between Alan and A.J. about how they have to support each other and Monica during this time.

Silly little filler with Scotty taking a bunny he hit to the hospital instead of a vet and persuading Bobbie to help.
