General Hospital Update for Thursday, 22-Feb-2001

******Presidential News Conference*****

In Martinique Sonny tells Carly that she is nothing but a slut and he doesn't want to be married to her anymore, and the only reason he married her in the first place was for the baby. Carly doesn't believe him. Sonny finally admits he wants to end their marriage to protect Carly and Michael. Carly tells him she won't leave the chapel in Martiniqe until Sonny agrees to marry her. Sonny finally admits he loves Carly and doesn't want to leave her and they will be getting married tomorrow.


Zander wants to take Emily to Winterfest but she has to work. She tells Zander that she hates waitressing. Zander tries to help her out by waiting tables but he is a disaster and ends up chasing away customers.

Ned stops by Alexis' to pick up the rest of his things. Alexis asks him to stay and watch the fireworks from her window but he turns her down.

Hannah and A.J. are enjoying their date at Winterfest. A.J. wins her a Gorilla , their date is going well ending in a kiss in the park.

Amy is still pushing Laura to see Scotty, She sets them up on a date at winterfest.

At Winterfest Laura tells Liz she is going to be the new Face of Deception but not to tell anyone until she can announce it next week. Unbeknownst to Laura, Gia is on the other side of the hedges buying hot cholcolate and overhears Laura's announcement.(Laura also slated Lucky to be Deceptions photographer).

Laura and Scotty run into Luke and Felicia kissing in the park at Winterfest. Laura is upset but says she must get used to seeing Luke.

Gia goes home and is so distraught she burns her test shots. Nick arrives upset with her for leaving him at Winterfest to worry about her but quits when he sees she has been crying. Gia tells him about what she overheard, Nick tries to comfort her but she says she is going back to Brooklyn and school.

As the Winterfest fireworks go off everyone is paired up, Luke and Felicia, Scotty and Laura, Hannah and A.J., Liz and Lucky,with Ned and Alexis just look at each other from across the park.
