General Hospital Update for Monday, 12-Feb-2001

Liz is surprised to return to her studio to find Lucky there instead of Jason. Apparently, he had been waiting for a while. She was able to cover her surprise about him being in her studio. Lucky feeling a bit romantic, decides that he wants to share a dance with her and in themeantime he shares some very intimate thoughts about his feelings for her…as Jason listens in from the closet. After she convinces Lucky that she has this huge project that she has to work on he agrees to leave and meet her at Kelly's later…taking with him the groceries that she had brought for Jason. After he leaves, she tells Jason again that she cannot keep lying to Lucky and she tells him that he must leave in 24 hours. He agrees.

Gia and Nikolas walk in on Stefan while he was trying to convince Laura to join his team in doing what is best for Nikolas. Stefan goes on to say that he knows what is best for Nikolas and that was it…Little Ms. Gia let him have it…she told him basically that he sounded just like Granny. Nikolas and Laura sat back and let her do her thing. Stefan left flabbergasted. Both Nikolas and Laura were impressed as to how Gia took up for Nikolas. Nikolas and Gia saw her test shots and agreed that they were very good. Laura announced that she was going to give Liz another test with Lucky as the photographer (as it that will help her) and then have Gia set up with the photographer who originally set up Liz's shots. After they leave she secretly hopes that Liz can rise to the competition.

Roy goes to visit Melissa in Chicago. They have a long conversation about her brother and agree that he was a good person that got into a bad situation. Roy tries to apologize to Melissa by saying that he got into a situation that got out of control and that she and her brother had to suffer the consequences. Melissa tells Roy that her brother forgave him and that she forgives him as well…Is she for real.

Back on the docks Sonny and Carly are able to escape harm…however as you can imagine Sonny is a bit shaken up by the fact that Carly almost got killed. Sonny's bodyguards show up after the shots were fired but they don't find anything. Carly wants Sonny to go to the hospital to make sure that he has not aggravated his injury but Sonny would not hear of it. Sonny then gives Leticia orders not to leave the house with Michael and not to go anywhere without Johnny. Carly freaks out saying that everything that Sonny has done for her has been a form of distraction from Deception to the Wedding all a lie…Sonny is adamant about staying silent and handling the problem on his on by basically going back to the Penthouse and trying to send Carly upstairs. Carly asked him was the wedding going to be her memory of him before he dies…she then calms down and apologizes for the comment. They hug while you can clearly see that Sonny is plotting revenge.
