General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 7-Feb-2001

Monica tells family she wants Wmily to come home. The go to Kelly's to try to convince her.
At Kelly's Emily, now working at Kelly's, is with Zander, A.J. asks EM if she is OK, she says she is doing fine. He agrees to not fight with her about Zander but he will be her best customer and leave her a huge tip. Emily is not a very good waitress and messes up an order and Zander scares away the customer when he is rude to Emily. The Q's arrive and ask Emily to go back home. A.J. convinces Emily to give it a try, just as Emily is about to agree Edward starts yelling at Zander and Emily tells them to leave.

Liz is mad at Lucky for taking test shots of Gia without asking her first. Lucky says she is over-reacting and Liz storms out and heads straight for Jason because Jason is the only one who will be totally honest with her. She tells him all about Gia and Lucky and finally admits she was hard on Lucky. She decides to stretch canvases and apoligized to Lucky tomorrow. She gets a splinter which Jason helps her remove and they stare into each others eyes.

Gia and Nick are playing around and end up in a really hot kiss. Nick asks if they should be doing this and Gia gets all defensive and pulls away. They get dressed to go out to dinner, lots of sexual tension, when Lucky barges in saying that Liz is upset with him for not asking to take the practice shots of Gia, which of course Gia didn't tell Nick about. Nick agrees with Liz and convinces Lucky to apoligize to Liz. Gia is mad that Nick took up for Liz again and Nick is mad that Gia lied to him. He breaks off their dinner date.

Sonny and Carly are making out and in walks Alexis who is having a panic attack because her life evolved around Ned and now he doesn't want her. Sonny asks Carly to go upstairs so he and Alexis can be alone. Jealous Carly doesn't want to leave but she finally does. Alexis tells Sonny she can't give up her carreer for Ned. She loves Ned but can't deal with the rest of it.

At the same time Ned is telling Chloe all the same things about Alexis. HE still loves Alexis but he can't deal with the rest of it. He wants to replace Alexis as L&B attorney.
