Penthouse
Carly is excitedly guessing possible wedding locations. Sonny remains secretive, but promises it is "private and far away from everything."
Docks
A pensive Stefan stares across the water. He is interrupted by Helena. Stefan attempts to leave, but Helena informs him that she has a plan for Nikolas. Stefan warns her to stay away from him. "Or what? You'll be cross with Mommy?" Helena responds. Helena asks why Stefan still pretends to care about Nik. Stefan is confident that Nik will forgive him in time. Helena mentions Nik's living situation and says that someone needs to remind him how to be a Cassadine. "Not you. Never you," Stefan responds, walking away. Andreas appears out of nowhere and asks what Helena is planning. "I am merely goading my unfortunate son to get rid of Gia. Then Nikolas will hate Stefan and not me," she says, in a particularly Passions-esque, let-me-now-explain-my-evil-plan piece of dialogue.
Nik's Bedroom
Nik, all shirtless and vulnerable looking, is lying in bed. He asks Gia, who is perched on the edge of the bed, what she wants. Gia gives some convoluted answer about Nik snoring too loud, which leads to Nik demanding an apology from Gia and Gia demanding an apology from Nik. The argument that ensues is shockingly different from all the previous Nik/Gia weekly fights. Oh wait, it isn't. It's EXACTLY THE SAME. Face of Deception. Stefan and Helena. Gia's non-existent rent check. Gia thinks Nik still loves Liz. Gia leaves, threatening to move out. Nik runs after her.
Liz's Studio
Liz has brought Jason dinner and, when he complains of boredom, offers to fill him in on the events of the day. Um, was it not bad enough that we had to SEE it-- now we have to HEAR about it, too? Yes, we do, apparently. After her explanation, Jason cuts to the heart of the matter, remembering Tom the Evil Photographer. He asks Liz if she really wants the job. She sounds torn, but mentions all the paint she could buy with the money. And maybe some art classes, too. Actually, that one was my suggestion.
PCPD
Pleasant, but awkward conversation between Mac and Felicia. Bobbie, sporting strangely sculpted, super curly hair, shows up to fill Felicia in on the results of her latest undercover spy mission. On the other side of the room, Zander is brought in and is informed by Mac that Sonny now has the option of reposting his bail, or letting him return to jail
Kelly's
Emily, Lucky, Tammy and Edward face off. Tammy ignores Edward's blustering and says that the room is Emily's if she wants it. Edward threatens to report Emily as a runaway (um, isn't she 18?) but is stopped momentarily by harsh words from the mighty Lucky.
Penthouse
Sonny and Carly begin to kiss, but are (naturally) interrupted by a knock on the door. It is Elton, signaling the arrival of the "comic relief" portion of today's show. Elton shows Carly the test shoot proofs, but he is far more interested in the fact that he is standing in the same room as supercool rockstar mobster Sonny Corinthos. For Elton's sake, Sonny plays up the tough guy act a bit (too bad he doesn't do that in front of OTHER ACTUAL MOBSTERS) and leaves the room. We hear another knock on the door. This time it's Alexis, who is on the receiving end of a lengthy tirade from Elton for running out on "his" wedding. Laugh! Laugh! Laugh at the frenzied effeminate man, the writers beg us. Alexis is saved by Sonny and the two leave to go deal with Zander. Out in the hall, Sonny affirms that he wants Zander out of jail, and won't withdraw his bail money. Back inside, Carly and Elton look at the proofs. Carly refers to Liz as "her usual boring self," a phrase I think might be more applicable to ALL OF TODAY'S SHOW. They discover that some of the pictures look much better than the others. Hey! Do you think those are the ones Lucky took???
Kelly's
Lucky begins yelling at Edward, saying that leaving home was the best thing that ever happened to him and that HIS parents never would have banished him to California. Hey Lucky, why don't you and your family issues go over there and let Emily talk to her OWN GRANDFATHER alone? Emily lays down the line, saying that she wants to come home, but won't. In a very well-acted bit, Emily reminisces about happier times with Edward, then telling him that all the way to the airport and on the plane to California, she expected him to change his mind and let her come home. Edward reminds Emily that he loves her, but Emily protests that love is not the issue-- trust is-- and she no longer trusts him after turning Zander in. Edward softens a bit, telling Emily to be sure to eat and reminding her that she can come back any time. Both their voices crack as they say goodbye. Emily cries for real after Edward leaves. After calming down a bit,she discusses her future with Lucky. Being cut off from the Q funds, she'll have to give up on an Ivy League school. Buttinsky McNosy does an about-face and tells Emily not to back herself into a corner. He tells her that she's taking a big step and he hopes that Zander is worth it. Emily tells Tammy that she wants the room and she and Lucky head upstairs. Gia shows up a moment later, asking to rent a room. Tammy breaks the news that Emily took the last one. Gia is not pleased.
PCPD
Bobbie updates Felicia on the latest. Vicky has forgiven Roy. Unpaid electric bill. Larkin. Secretive Roy. Alexis and Sonny show up to bail out Zander. "You mean I'm free?" asks Zander. "Not so fast," says Mac ominously, reveling in what little authority he has left. It is revealed that Zander must wear an ankle monitor. He is released into the custody of Alexis. Bobbie and Flea's conversation continues. Felicia, somewhat ironically, urges Bobbie to be honest with Roy.
Studio
Liz is now talking about her "perfect life" with Lucky. The conversation turns to Emily and Liz tells Jason that she moved into Kelly's.
Haven for Stray and Wayward Teens
Gia tries to convince Tammy to rent her a room, with no luck. Nik shows up and finds out that Emily moved into Kelly's. Bickering ensues. Nik storms out. Oh, just DO IT and get it over with, you two! Carly rushes in, telling Gia that she has scheduled a practice shoot for her for tomorrow. Gia leaves and Carly asks Tammy where Lucky is.
Penthouse
Sonny and Zander come in, sans Alexis. A scary guilt trip ensues. Zander's protests are silenced. He apologizes and Sonny relents a little, not before telling Zander to "mind Alexis" and "treat her like a lady." And they say chivalry is dead.
Kelly's
Lucky and Emily are headed out. Carly stops them, asking Lucky to shoot Gia tomorrow like he did for Elizabeth. They have a brief argument that I don't really understand the logistics of, then Lucky agrees to do it for a $2000 fee.
Cottage
Nik is up pacing. Gia (surprise, surprise) comes back, "for the night," but then asks Nik a moment later if he "really wants her to leave." Nik tells her she can stay, but not to show up in his room anymore.
Docks
Oh look-- it's Juan. What's that? Oh you know, that guy that Emily used to go out with. That teen singing sensation? Ricky Martin's son? Cue the awkward conversation. Emily wants Juan to be "friends" with Zander. Juan asks her "what planet [she] lives on" and storms off. Tee hee!
Before Emily can get too upset, Zander shows up, saying, "I'm SO here." Cue the kissing.
Studio
Jason gives Liz money to give to Emily, but says not to tell her that he's in town. Lucky comes by, which sends Jason fleeing to the closet. Lucky wants to bring Emily and Zander over to the studio (huh? nice plot device there) but Liz manages to convince him to go back to Kelly's with her.
Some Kind of Underwater Lair
Sorel. Someone comes in and tells him that Em and Zander are on the docks. Sorel says that it's time to go back to PC.
Penthouse
Jason calls Sonny, saying that he's "ready for Sorel." "This better work," says Sonny. Carly comes back, and is scolded by Sonny for being late and not calling.
PCPD
Felicia has found new information in Sorel's bank account: an incriminating transfer of money. Mac is pleased.
Kelly's
Who's that? Oh-- it's Luke! I didn't recognize him without a CORNY, PATHETIC disguise. Tammy comes out to greet him. Luke grins (leers?) at her.
Director: Shelly Curtis
Writer: Mary Sue Price
Scenes for Monday:
Roy asks Bobbie if she has plans. Gia asks Nik if he's spying on her. Luke calls Felicia. Carly thinks Sonny is hiding something. Jason asks Liz for a favor.
