General Hospital Update for Thursday, 1-Feb-2001

Nik & Liz are at Kelly's and they discuss they photo shoot. He says she was good, she complains that there were too many people there. Mac & Laura run into each other outside Kelly's and talk about the photo shoot going well. A kid comes along selling roses.

Alan & Monica are at the hospital. They are angry at each other over Emily. Alan yells at Monica for being unprofessional and missing a staff meeting and she yells at him for driving away Emily.

At the PCPD, Zander & Emily meet and talk bail. She wants to go to Sonny, he says Sonny has surely had it with him. Felicia & Dara argue about her involvement in the Sorel case and how it could hurt Mac's career.

Luke is at the bank posing as Darius Cassadine. He tries to pick the lock on the safe deposit box. He does not succeed and has to leave without it.

Bobbie & Roy are set for a romantic candlit evening at the brownstone when the power goes off and they notice they are the only building with no power.

Back to Kelly's. Liz & Nik talk about Gia. Liz says Gia is nervous and Nik says she needs to prove herself to her family. Mac buys yellow roses for Laura in honor of their long friendship and her success as a C.E.O. They go into Kelly's and talk about the mayor trashing Mac in the paper. Mac gets some take-out and goes back to the PCPD. Laura goes over to Liz & Nik to talk about the photo shoot.

Back at the PCPD Dara & Felicia are still arguing. Zander & Emily discuss her moving into Kelly's and he tells her not to do is for him. She says she can't live with people who don't trust her.

Back at the hospital, Alan & Monica are still arguing. Tony & Audrey decide to interrupt. Monica & Audrey discuss menopause and Tony & Alan discuss the Emily situation. Chloe & Stefan step off different elevators. Stefan asks why she is there and if she is ok. She tells him not to pretend he cares and that she now sees clearly just who he is.

Back at the brownstone. Roy & Bobbie are worried. They have called Hannah and Taggart has shown up asking why the power is out. Hannah finds that the bill has not been paid in 3 months. Bobbie and Roy blame Larkin.

Once again at the PCPD. Flea & Mac eat their take out and discuss her involvement in the case. She is uneasy about it and he reassures her that she is doing fine and not to worry about the mayor. Zander meets with Lucky. They talk about Emily and Zander asks Lucky to keep an eye on her for him. Lucky says he will, but because he is her friend, not because of Zander.

Emily is at the Quartermaines in her room and she is packing to leave. Edward barges in and argues with her about it.

Laura, Nik & Liz are at Kelly's talking about the photo shoot. Gia comes in and is tense, Laura & Liz are rude, Laura goes home. Nik sits with Gia and talks.Tammy says Liz can go home and Liz orders take out. Chicken soup, corned beef on rye with saurkraut & cheese. Tammy recognizes it as Jason's favorite order. Liz covers and says Jason got her hooked on it. Gia is paranoid and criticises Laura to Nik. She implies Laura has already decided who will be the better model and that Laura is lying. This infuriates Nik. He tells Gia she has too big a chip on her shoulder and he leaves. Liz has overheard. She gets on Gia's case about Gia being selfish and taking advantage of Nik. She tells Gia to back off Laura and grow up.

Once again at the PCPD. Felicia & Mac are still discussing Sorel. Felicia is worried, Mac is not.

At the Quartermaines Monica & Alan find Emily packing. Emily says they've changed and she cannot live with them because they don't trust her and won't listen to her. They are very upset.

Brownstone. Taggart & Hannah listen to Bobbie & Roys concerns about Larkin and the strange things that have been happening to Bobbie. Bobbie mentions the letter from Melissa but Roy hushes her up and tells her to stay out of the Melissa issue.

Alan, Monica and Emily disagree about Zander. Emily asks will they let her see Zander if she follows all their rules and they refuse. Lila says she will always be there for Emily if Emily needs her. Emily tells them she is going to Kelly's and that she will always love all of them. Monica cries.
