General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 6-Dec-2000

Helena discussed her plans to commit Nikolas with Andreas. She realized that with Stefan dead, there was no real opponent to stop her. Just as she was gloating over her plans, Stefan walked in. He lorded his return over her head and made her aware that she had orchestrated his and Chloe's kidnapping. When she asked him why he came back, he told her that he missed her and he grabbed her in a forceful hug. Helena tenderly caressed his face and he pulled away. Helena suspected that Chloe was Stefan's new achilles heel and planned on using that to her advantage. The Quartermaines welcomed Chloe back home and invited her to live with them at the mansion. In spite of Edward's overbearing nature and the general insanity of the household, she decided to move in. Stefan visited to make sure Chloe was alright and he let the Quartermaines know that he still considered himself Chloe's protector. Ned asked Alexis if she wanted to move into Jax's Penthouse since Chloe didn't want it. At the same time, A.J. was telling a decorator that as soon as Chloe moved out of the Penthouse, he was moving in. Gia worried that since Stefan was back, Nikolas was going to kick her out of the cottage. She wasn't at all polite to Lucky and Liz when they returned from their trip and Nikolas very gently asked her to leave before she started a fight. Liz thanked Nikolas for constantly supporting them and for being their best friend. Bobbie was concerned about her mental state when it appeared that she hadn't told the garage to fix her brakes. She thought of all the mistakes she seemed to be making of late and confessed to Roy that she was scared. Emily found Zander in a jubilant mood after Alexis told him she might be able to get him out on bail by Christmas. As Zander and Emily made plans for how they would spend the holidays, Juan barged in. Juan refused to leave until Emily made a choice between him and Zander. Emily didn't want to be forced to choose between them, but she wouldn't leave with Juan, she stayed with Zander.
